After the initial phone call he was very helpful. He charging was a bit more than the other estimates but his installation was on the outside instead of inside.

He was right on time and very pleasant. He was very friendly, personable, professional.

We called Radon Specialist and left a message. Mr Penning called us back,but we were not at home so we played phone tag for a day. When we finally did speak we setup and appointment for the next day. Mr. Penning was on time. He explained everything that we needed  to  know and made us feel very comfortable about everything that needed to be done. At first he scheduled us for the following Monday but that was a problem for us. He was then able to start our job on the Friday before, which worked out perfectly for us. The actual labor takes two days and the followup test takes another two days, so the whole job was completed in four days. When all was said and done Andy dropped our level down to 1.2 pCi/l. The noise from all the drilling and the dust were the most annoying thing about the whole process but is a small price to pay for acceptable levels.

The install itself was ok, I had to get them to clean up a bit afterwords.

However I have tried for over a year to contact Andy via phone and email multiple times to have his electrician come out and direct wire the radon system he installed. This was part of the agreement and Andy left the job with the system plugged in across our front porch with an external electrical cable (which i provided). He has only responded one with a phone number for an electrician he works with and expected me to arrange the details. I called that person 2 times and he did not come out as well. Since it has been over a year I just paid another electrician to come in and do the work.

Andy has since called and asked for an invoice to cover the cost of the electrician. He has paid this in full. As such I am moving all his ratings to a b.
