Luna and his team were excellent. They did an absolutely amazing job and we’re so friendly. Great customer service all around. I have lived in the home for a while now and can find no issues at all. They sanded the walls prior, because Luna showed me where there were many rough spots all over the walls which felt like sandpaper; the flat builder paint hides this poor sanding job. If he had not shown me this my eggshell paint I was having applied would have shown every single bad spot and looked awful. Even with the sanding; it was a extremely good price for the job. I even got the garage painted it was such a good deal! I would use Luna again no question and have recommended him and his team to many of my neighbors and friends. Hire Queen City Painting and will not be sorry.

Ron and his team were amazing - exceeded our expectations! We had about 1200 sq ft of plaster walls that needed to be primed, painted, and mudded in a few areas. Somehow they were able to knock out the entire project in ONE DAY. We couldn't believe it! We left for work Friday morning and came home to a brand new home! The quality of their work was impeccable, with special attention given to details. There were many areas in the house that needed extra care to get it painted correctly: holes filled, shelves removed, fridge and furniture moved, etc. They tackled it all with ease. Once we got home, we were told to walk through the house to inspect it before they left to make sure we were happy. Everything looked great! Unlike many of the other contractors we've been working with during this home renovation, Queen City Painting was super communicative and adaptive to our last minute requests. We tacked on an additional project of painting of the trim in the 2-story stairwell the day the work was being completed. They quoted us the price and got the work done exactly as we requested. I would highly recommend Queen City Painting and we will certainly use them again!

They were a little expensive. I wouldn't use them again, but not because they didn't do a good job but because we found someone who does a good job for cheaper.

The Queen City Painting crew was very meticulous in their prep work. The painting and trim work was outstanding. They cleaned everything up when they were done and my house looks beautiful, like brand new. I am extremely happy with the work they did for me.

Ron came out to the house to look things over before giving an estimate. His price was reasonable, and we scheduled the painting. About 2 weeks before the scheduled date, Ron asked if we could be ready early because rain had postponed one of his exterior jobs. We were eager to get started, so his crew came in and finished the job in 2 days. They did an amazing job, and they worked around all of our furniture and moving boxes (we had just moved into the house the week prior). We are very satisfied with the work that Queen City Painting did for us. We would hire them again and recommend them to others for painting jobs. They are outstanding!

Ron was responsive and helpful including meeting me at my house at the exact time scheduled to provide me with a quote. The work performed by his employees was excellent and professional. All of the work area was perfectly cleaned upon their completion of the job. The time from contacting Ron for a quote and having my rooms painted occurred in less than a week! I will be recommending this company and plan to use them in the future.

This was one best experiences I have when it has involve hiring someone to perform work on our house. Ron was incredibly responsive, was quick to turn the quote around, answered all of my many questions, and kept me up to date on when the job would be completed. In addition, the crew that came out to paint and repair my house was top-notch. The wood rot repairs were well done and the painting of the trim and siding were excellent. They paid attention to detail, had me check the work via a checklist, and cleaned up the property before they left. I would definitely recommend Ron and his company to anyone looking to get their house painted.

We hired Queen City Painting to stain our dock - the whole walkway, beams and the interior roof. They've done other work for us before, including staining our back deck, painting inside the house and staining a walkway. Every time they've done a great job. I like that they pay attention to the details, they don't leave a mess, and they show up and finish when promised. In the few instances we've needed some touch up, Florencio and his team have showed up promptly and corrected the issue without any hassle. I would hire them again without any reservations, and recommend them as well.

Ron was quick to respond to quote request and patient with many back and forth emails clarifying work to be done and slight change in paint. He was able to schedule us within 1.5 weeks of receiving signed contract back from me. His guys pressure-washed on a Saturday and showed up Thursday to begin painting. They'd hoped to finish in one day, but TS Julia parked off the coast kept sending showers so they'd have to wait them out and then start again. Took most of 2 days but did an outstanding job with wood repair and paint. We have old masonite siding that's not in great shape, but they cleaned it up and made it look really good. When they found additional rot (which we expected since there was some they hadn't noticed that we saw after house was washed) the additional cost was still much less than we expected. These guys (Ron and Danny) have been working together for many years and it shows in the way the work together and the quality of their work.

I am pleased with the job that was done. The crew arrived at 8:30 am and began the preparation. The job was completed in a timely fashion, (9hrs) and they also provided a decent clean up job, afterwards. At our residence in Charlotte, they removed the pop corn ceilings; smooth out and painted. We were so impressed by the work that we hired then again to paint the entire interior of our new residence in Concord. Our new residence has high ceilings and even higher ceilings in the foyer. They did an exceptional job in recommending the best paints, being punctual and cleaning up after each completed task.

I WILL ALWAYS USE Mr Luna and his family company Queen City Painting for ANY FUTURE PAINTING NEEDS. (Pics below) I now understand at age 65 what QUALITY PAINTING really is. I thought I knew until I watched 5-7 family painters work for 2 solid days on the weekend to finish me in time for the movers to bring our furniture. Some people just always try to do things perfect with no shortcuts. HE DOES CARE AND DOES WAY MORE FOR YOU THAN YOU ASK FOR. HE BECAME A FRIEND WHO I RESPECT GREATLY. I originally wanted his special for 3 people for 8 hours to get as much paint thrown on wall as possible. After I saw them begin work, I was so impressed, I ask him to price out the whole job TO DO THE ENTIRE HOME......HEAD TO TOE... FOR A TOTAL JOB PRICE... No longer by the hour. After meeting him, I immediately liked him ....trusted his advise as to the correct way I should have our home prepaired and painted. I listened...... and now our home looks like a model home and I felt I made a smart reasonable investment. HE TAKES NO SHORTCUTS.... and has such pride in his work and SO DO EACH OF HIS HARD WORKING FAMILY MEMBERs!!!!!! PROS: (pics below) **He was 15 minutes early for job at 0745 AM Sat morn. **He has a full professional van and trailer full of the equipment to paint professionally!! TOP NOTCH **They prepped all the hardwood floors with blue tape and brown paper with such attention to detail. ** THEY SANDED ALL THE WALLS with these wall sanders that had a vacuum system attached. **They removed closet and pantry medel shelving and carefully painted around EVERY small shelf support screw. ** They put two coats on every wall and 3 on several that he was not pleased with. **They primmed the hardwood trim and put 2 coats on ALL Trim, Crown, AND WOOD WINDOWS and DOORS. ** They caulked every paint line between wall and wood on the trim, windows, crown, AND DOORS. ** They removed mirrors in bathrooms to paint behind. **All his family business members we so polite and they never seemed to take breaks. They just carefully painted our home with care and attention to detail !! **THEY COMPLETELY CLEANED UP and left the swept and vacuumed floors better than they found them.... Ready to move in. CONS: ** NONE My wife and I Received SO MUCH MORE THAN I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING THAT I TIPPED THEM $400 and should have tipped him more!!!! I got a break on the paint at Benjamin Moore because I used Queen Citiy Painting and Sherman Williams will also give you the same break . Both of them know Mr Luna and Queen City Painting. Fantastic! Ron was quick with his estimate, priced the job very fairly, and his crew was conscientious and careful. We have a large house, and the work was completed in 2 days. This is the third time we have had this house painted, and this was by far the best price, quality, and service we have experienced. Will definitely call Ron again.

Florencio and his crew did an awesome job. He was very meticulous, respectful and courteous. He made sure everything was done perfectly. We are definitely planning on having him back to do our upstairs. I would highly recommend Florencio to anyone.

Our experience with Queen City Painting has been incredible. Ron, the owner, came personally to do a walkthrough of the house and provide an estimate, which was very reasonable. He even pointed out some things with the walls that we didn't notice, but absolutely needed to be fixed. The crew showed up promptly at 8:30 am the morning of the job. Danny, who was leading the crew, was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. The end result was absolutely amazing, the painting was flawless, there were no drips on the floors, and no damage to the furniture. Overall we are very happy with our selection and how our paint turned out. The painter suggested we use a certain kind of paint and I feel I was very specific when I asked for a paint that I could at least wipe small smudges off, seeing as we have small children.  The paint we got you can not wipe anything off without leaving a small discoloration on the walls. This has caused a bit of a headache and we have had to touch up a few spots since it has been painted in January.  I also hate how the paint streaks in the bathrooms if any water is splashed out of the tub.  After living here a few months I do see some spots where paint wasn't applied as nicely as it could have been but only we would notice.

The customer service was FANTASTIC. They were professional, on time and did the job in one day.  Though I wouldn't choose the same type of paint in the future I am happy with how it turned out.

I would highly recommend this company. Danny and his crew were all wonderful! They were on time, polite, super professional, and they did an amazing job. Our house looks beautiful. They did a huge amount of work in just one day. We would definitely hire them again.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS:  If you are looking for a painting company, be sure to include Queen City in your selection process.  The owner Ron, did a thorough assessment and provided a detailed written proposal.  Their on-site manage, Danny, showed up on the agreed upon starting date with a crew of about ten people and started to work with a high sense of urgency.  The rather large job was completed in only 2 days and the results were outstanding. 

I had 4 well rated companies bid on this project, and Queen City's pricing was very competitive.  I own several properties in the Charlotte area, and have done a lot of paining projects.  This was by far the best experience I have had with any painting contractors.  Danny and his entire team extremely customer focused and a pleasure to work with.  Their attention to detail is outstanding, and as I said the finished product was fantastic.  They truly went above and beyond the project scope to ensure an optimum outcome.  Do not hesitate to hire Queen City if you want a truly professional paining job.
