Absolutely, let’s roll all that in! Here’s an updated version of your review: --- I just have to give a huge shoutout to Nick Ludwig for the fantastic HVAC service we received. With his 10 years of experience, Nick didn’t replace our water heater, he gave us some options for upgrading our new HVAC systems to help decrease my nasal allergy symptoms. He walked us through three different upgrades we could add, and he recommended the best fit based on experience that had the hope of providing me relief. No surprise, the electrostatic filter systems he recommended for both units are giving me immediate relief, and I’m honestly looking forward to breathing easier from here on out. Nick is a total miracle worker—thank you so much, Nick!

I have been a loyal customer of Prime Comfort since 2019 when my Dad recommended I get them to inspect the HVAC system on a home I was purchasing. Since that first day 6 years ago, I have been extremely happy with all technicians I've worked with at Prime Comfort. Mike has helped me several times over the past few years and he has always been 100% honest and straightforward about his recommendations. I've never felt like he or Prime Comfort has recommended any servicing that wasn't needed on my aging system. I'd recommend Prime Comfort to anyone 100%!

Heat Pump Upgrade and Replacement: Prime Comfort, recommended by Duke-Energy, Better Business Bureau, was exceptional. From a no pressure sales presentation, to giving me links to vendor documentation for the systems they suggested, to just being fully convincing that their Rep was highly experienced. He even had a low cost self-patented fix for my duct work. My research on them, all turned up highly positive. Prime Comfort got within my budget and added the extras I requested for my new Heat Pump. (Like a surge protector, new hall air filter plate, MERV-11 Media Filter, an 8-year extended labor warranty added to their 2-year Mfg. labor warranty + 10-year parts warranty). They also provided 2 years of free seasonal service with the purchase of a new Heat Pump. To top it off, they offered 36-48 months interest-free payments financing. I have not been disappointed in any way since I met Bill, Prime Comfort's Sales Engr Manager and had the Heat Pump installed. All their installation, operations and service guys have been very knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. Every interaction with Prime Comfort has been enjoyable, rewarding and I am so glad I chose them. When you are going to be in a relationship with a HVAC Company for 10+ years, it's extremely important that you like and trust them. Bottom line, they did exactly what I asked and more. I am totally satisfied with the work and character of this company. I would recommend them unequivocally to family and friends. Prime Comfort in every situation, went above and beyond "the call of duty" to make sure I was a happy customer. From the 1-day installation of the unit, to calling them for our service in late spring, to receiving my rebate from Duke-Energy, it has completely been a "No Hassle" experience. On inspection day, our installation passed both the County and Duke-Energy inspections with flying colors. Most importantly our HVAC operation has been flawless, and we are saving money over the old system. So, yes, I'm happy to recommend them wholeheartedly and will call on them in the future if I purchase another property. Save yourself some grief, avoid pushy salespeople trying to up sale and add on to what you need, big patronizing companies and being taken for granted. Even though I write for a living, I rarely write reviews. I would be remiss not to shout from the rooftops about how much this company impressed me. Buying a replacement HVAC system is worse than buying a car. It is stressful, and the industry is plagued by bad actors who run their businesses to take advantage of the people who depend on them. Like any other smart consumer, I did my homework. I consulted Next Door and Angie's List. I scheduled appointments with five companies. I had an urgent issue of mold in my ductwork, and warm weather was around the corner. At first, I wanted to decide based on price. I think most HVAC consumers feel this way. In the end, I decided what was best for my health and ultimate comfort. Bill Hix, Comfort Specialist, at Prime Comfort, was more like a consulting expert to me than a salesperson. He once owned his own HVAC company in VA and was exceptionally knowledgeable. More than that, his quotation and recommendations were in front of me immediately on his tablet. Nothing short of impressive. It was a no-brainer. They would start with two simultaneous crews on the next business day. Due to my compromised immune system, the installation crews wore hazmat suits, gloves, and masks whenever inside my home. I was replacing two units and all the ductwork in the attic. Bill kept saying to me, "Don't worry. We are going to take care of you," and that is precisely what they did. Their lead installers Bobby Nation and Corey Hargrove, were great with communication –– always calling me first when they would be entering the house. They were punctual, polite, helpful, and careful cleaning and disinfecting everything they touched, even vacuuming when necessary. They worked in the attic, while sheets of rotten plywood were being torn off by roofers at the same time. They never complained. Their Operation Manager, Ken Leach, was regularly on-site overseeing his crews daily and extremely patient with all my questions, concerns, and requests. (I tend to be a back seat driver) Ken always made me feel like a VIP customer, no matter what. Prime Comfort's quality of work is flawless, clean, and exacting. They even cared to replace all my supply vents and intake grills as well as properly insulate beneath the stairwell and adjust a basement dryer vent –– all to allow the new system to operate most efficiently. I upgraded my system on every level, including commercial-grade filtration systems. The growth of mold in my air supply made it easy for me to conclude that these were important and lasting decisions. When the unit started up, I literally could tell the difference in my air quality as I could between tap and purified water. I am ecstatic. How did I come to be so lucky to choose Prime Comfort? After I decided on a Trane system, I realized that the gentleman I was going to hire did not offer the Trane's 0% financing program. I asked him which of the four companies I was meeting with was the best company to hire. He texted back: Go with Prime Comfort. Boy, am I ever glad I did just that. I congratulate the owner, Kevin Murphy, for leading such an excellent, honest, and professional team. It is comforting (pun intended) to know that there are good people in this business, who operate daily in good faith and serve their customers with a genuine intention not just on Day 1, but for the lifetime of the equipment. So if you are in the challenging process of choosing an HVAC company and a system, let me do you a favor: Go with Prime Comfort.

After analyzing the ratings and reviews on several HVAC companies I decided to contract Prime Comfort because of their high ratings and the fact that they offered a discount for multiple units. My personal opinion of the company however began with Barbara in the office. She was pleasant, quick to respond and very informative. When Bryan, the technician, arrived the next day to service my units, he made a very good impression as well. I observed his work on my 1st furnace and asked plenty of questions which he gladly answered and explained. He also showed patience and detail in making sure the work was done properly. Though I have a 3rd unit which I rarely use, I did ask Bryan to take a look at it which he did. It looked good enough that in his opinion I did not need to pay extra to have him service that unit. I was glad to see that he didn’t try to push an unneeded service on me. But as I purchased the home 18 months ago and hadn’t done a service yet, I had him service that unit anyways. In the end it was a good thing I did as the capacitor in the furnace was not doing well and needs to be changed before it dies Or causes damage to the motor. But by a simple visual inspection you would never know. So FYI. All in all, a very good first visit and I would definitely recommend Prime Comfort for your HVAC needs.

All went very well. The tech took readings and then checked out the AC/Heating unit. All was functioning properly, but the fan was set way too high. The air was passing over the coils so fast the moisture was not being removed from the air. The tech made the adjustments to the fan in the unit under the house and the humidity in the house has now dropped dramatically. The tech also cleaned the outer unit and made sure all components were working as they should. We are very pleased with the service, the professionalism, and the value for what was charged. I would recommend Prime comfort tom anyone needing work on their AC/Heating systems.

Bryan was my repair tech. He was very kind, even-tempered and professional. Charged reasonable price for a routine check up and he was very thorough. Would definitely hire again and recommend.

We had a great experience with Prime Comfort. Bill came out and worked with me on a full system replacement quote and he blew the competition out of the water. I received 2 quotes for Trane equipment and it was a very easy decision to make. The outside unit was the same on both quotes. On the Prime Comfort quote the furnace was upgraded to the Hyperion TAM9 unit vs the TEM6 from the competitors quote and Prime Comfort was still cheaper. Bill and the owner where very flexible with us as our install date had to be moved a few times. The installers were great as well and they did a great job and explained the system features well. There was a problem with a bad part in the new furnace unit from the factory and they made sure that it was replaced during the day of the install and all was in good working order. I have also spoken to Barbara in the front office and she has been very helpful in coordinating things as well. Bottom line....No complaints here and I would highly recommend Prime Comfort to anyone looking for HVAC repair or system replacement.

My experience with Prime Comfort was excellent. Barbara, Chuck, and William were always available to answer my questions, explain options, facilitate the install, and even called to follow up to make sure everything was working perfectly .

The problem was thoroughly explained to me and promptly fixed. The replacement part required was on-hand in the truck, so only one relatively quick visit by technician was needed. Overall, excellent service on all fronts - professionalism, cost, promptness, etc! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Ok, I don't say this lightly, but this is the first time I have ever had a 5-star experience with an HVAC company. My experiences in the past have been various companies trying to oversell me one thing or another. One time I blew a simple capacitor (a $35 part) and they tried to convince me the whole AC system was shot. Anyway, for this service call, it started when I saw a water spot on my ceiling and knew my overflow pan had overflowed in the attic. I went to take a look and couldn't see anything wrong, nothing frozen, no visible cracks, etc. I sucked up the water and immediately went to Angie's List to find an A-rated company. Prime Comfort was at the top of the list because they had a $59 diagnostic special. I bought the deal and they called me within 30 minutes! They came out within a few hours (same day) and the technician (forgot his name but he was awesome) spoke to me in plain language. He spent over two hours going over the entire system top to bottom. He even cleaned the coils outside and took some refrigerant out (apparently it was over-pressured). He did say he found a small hairline crack in one of the PVC drainage pipes in the attic and it might have been slow leaking over several weeks. He offered to seal that for $50. I took him up on that as well. He switched everything back on and it's cooling better than ever despite the unit being almost 20 years old. I thought for sure he'd tell be there was a catastrophic problem and it would be big bucks to fix or replace. The extra sealant plus service call came to only $113. I have never, ever paid so little for an HVAC service call, even the simple annual tune-ups cost more. If they treat every customer like this, then they have my business for life.

Bryan is excellent!! I have had many different HVAC companies, but Bryan exceeds them all in his knowledge, patience, kindness, professionalism, and overall service. I am very picky and I ask a lot of questions. Bryan was the best, which is a very high compliment. I have been ripped off by many companies but put my confidence in this guy. Barbara also is great, the one who sets the appointments - - very kind and understanding when we had to reschedule.

Prime Comfort sent their senior tech, Bryan, to troubleshoot my Trane AC unit. He determined that there was a small leak and offered to recharge the unit with refrigerant. Bryan was very pleasant, professional and was not trying to sell me anything. He simply did what I requested and answered all of my question, which were many. There were no surprise charges. The quote that I received for refrigerant over the phone was what I paid. I would definitely hire Prime Comfort again for future maintenance and repair of my furnace and AC unit.

The water heater is located in the storage room. Fists size holes was left in the drywall.

Technician arrived and inspected the inside unit. He found a capacitor that he was unhappy with the way the installer had mounted and took the time to make it more secure. When he inspected the outside unit he advised me the fan starter capacitor was weak. He told me he size of the capacitor and I was able to replace it myself. I am very happy with the service and would use again.

Technician called in advance and arrived on time. Task performed well and to full satisfaction. Minor issue identified and a quote was left for us to decide at our convenience. No pressure to get additional business here and now.
