Quality of work was far below expectations.  Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Summary: use Premier at your peril. Yes, they seem to do good work, but if something 'develops' later on down the road, you the customer are on your own. My wife arranged for this job, and I didn't pay much attention. The work certainly looked fine, the old colors were completely hidden.... until a long-term house guest apparently dropped something heavy in one of the sinks in early 2006. The re-glazed surface cracked, resulting in the eventual loss of a fist-sized area of white glaze, exposing the original avocado. Lovely! The warranty had long-since expired, and my 'guest' never explained what had happened ("...it just appeared one day...." uhhh, huh), so I called Premier from my office in Florida, asking them to fit me into their schedule and I'd gladly pay for the repair. Well, I can vouch for the experience of the Member who filed a lengthy report on July 1, 2010 regarding this company's Customer Service ethic, after a problem developed with a re-glaze project that Premier had completed in 2009. "Called last year, called this year..."; "...he won't call me back..."; "...ignores phone calls...", and so on, were some of this Member's complaints. From Florida, I reached Scott St. Clair's friendly voice about once a week for two months or so; that was a voice-mail voice, because Premier apparently never answers their phone and instead uses their telephone answering machine playback feature as a screening device to decide whom to call back: "new customer, call 'em back; complaint about prior work, to heck with them!" I maintained my cool for the first several phone calls, leaving courteous requests for help on Premier's answering machine. Eventually (remember, we're talking about six to eight calls from out-of-town that I placed over a two or three month period), as I grew more frantic, I probably became more strident... all to no avail. Finally on my last call to Premier's answering machine, I let loose with a since-forgotten nasty comment or two, nasty but still usable in mixed company. Then, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which I think I had warned about in one of my answering machine messages to Premier. I think that even BBB had some difficulty getting him to respond ("... we'll make one more attempt...", they messaged me). I figured he was dead, and the phone calls were being listened to by an office-cleaning crew. Finally, he replied to the BBB. In his response to the BBB (but never to me), he failed to address my complaint about not getting my calls returned, but instead complained about the final recorded message that I'd left him. "We have small children in the office, and they shouldn't be exposed to that language..." he wrote to the BBB, or something similar. I replied to the BBB that maybe it was those little children who were running the company... and why were they listening to business messages, anyway. Not being able to get a satisfactory resolution for me, BBB closed the case. And, I still have that nice, two-tone avocado and white bathroom sink. As I suggested at the outset, DO NOT hire Premier Refinishing, do not let Scott into your home, if you believe that a company should stand behind its work when it comes to maintaining good relations with its customers. End of tale.

It went great. Scott is great-very hardworker, friendly, & I trusted him working in my house. He barely rested during all of his work at my house. The end result for both bathrooms was classy. I got great feedback from my home stager with the work he did. She said the quality of his work and the end result doubled the return on my investment. I would recommend Scott to anyone.

The rest of the work is great but I have real problems with the tub. I am so irritated with this company. We moved into the house about six or seven months after he finished the work. He came back and one point to do some touchups but I?ve had a problem again and he won?t call me back. I called him last year and I called him this year. I was even willing to pay him but he won?t call me back. He has very good reports because he is very good initially but he doesn?t follow up on his work at all. He is supposed to have a five year warranty but he doesn?t live up to that at all. Initially he was very good but I?m disappointed that he?s ignored me. I called him a couple of months after he did the work and two or three times after that. I just don?t think he stands behind his work. For someone who wants a long-term product, I would never recommend him. I thought the price was comparable but it is unprofessional to ignore phone calls. I?m going to have to pay someone to take off what he did and redo the tub. It?s in a bathroom that is only used by guests so it hasn?t had a lot of use and it should have stood up.

Great! Scott came over right away to do give an estimate which was $200-$400 dollars cheaper than 2 other estimates I got. He was able to schedule the work within the week. It took two 1/2 days to do the work. He was on time, professional. I couldn't have asked for more. He cleaned up, and he also came back after a few days to clean up little spill overs and fix a little drip with no hesitation. the Product has a 5 year Warranty, but is said to last over 15 years with proper maintenace. it looks great, like a brand new bathroom.

Over all great experience! I called to request a quote which it was scheduled for the following day. After receiving a very reasonable price the repair/refinishing was scheduled for just two days later. Scott showed up on time, did a great job and even caulked the tub after refinishing it. He was professional, fast, and cleaned up after he was done. It looked great initially, but the next day I noticed the cracks were still visible in areas (though much less than before). When I called Scott to tell him, he scheduled a convenient time just a couple days later to inspect the tub. Once he inspected it, he decided he needed to spray one more coat on the floor of the tub to completely fill all the cracks, which he did during the same visit. I am thrilled with the end result and think the tub looks 100% better! I was very impressed with Scott's responsiveness and professionalism.

Was previously quoted for 550.00 before I joined Angies List. Found Premier Refinishing with high scores. Received quote over the phone on a Wednesday. Since bathroom was completely remodeled and was the last thing to be done they showed up Saturday afternoon and has work done in about 2 1/2 hours.

There were some very minor flubs in the job. It took about two months of calling and leaving recorded messages to get the supplier to return to make the corrections. He did, however, return and corrected the minor flaws and the end project looks great. Apart from the delay in getting back to us (we didn't know if we were being ignored and were never going to see him again), he is a nice person to work with and the final product is totally to our satisfaction and was reasonably priced.

He did not match up the grout color in my bathroom. He just bought what he thought it was by memory and applied. I called him to have him come re-do it and he never called me back or came out. That is after he guaranteed his work for ten years in writing.

Scott responded very promptly to my call and was able to schedule the same week. Work took about half a day to complete, then fixtures couldn't be used for three days. He was polite and added additional work after looking at the situation. All mess was cleaned after completion. I am very pleased thus far.

Scott was great. I called him Monday for a quote and on Wednesday he was here to start the job. He was very friendly and went straight to what he had to do. The job was complete in 2 days. We live in a 27 year old home. Our shower and bath now looks brand new as well as the counter top.

He is excellent, very courteous, prompt and did very good work. I had a subsequent ding from a painter on one of the bathroom vanities and he came to fix it for a minimal charge.

He was running late but did call to let us know that he was running behind. Was neat in appearance and did the work in a professional manner. He didn't waste time. Came in and went right to work and finished the job in approximately 3 hours. He did not leave a mess for us to clean up. Provided the invoice and warranty information. Said if we had any problems to call and he would take care of them.

The whole process went very well. Scott arrived in the morning. His work took about four hours. He was very neat with all of his products and equipment. After the process was complete we were told to wait three days before using the shower.

Scott did such a great job and we love our new bathroom! The bathroom was tiled in green tile all around and had a green floor. Scott painted and glazed the tiles white, refinished the tub and put in a nice white tile floor. Great job, very professional and easy to get along with.

I called Scott on Monday and he gave me an estimate over the phone and scheduled to do the work the Thursday of that same week. He arrived on time and completed the work within 3 hours. He did a fantastic job, left the bathroom in great shape and was really nice. I have recommended him to several of my friends and would absolutely use his services again.

OVERALL PRETTY GOOD. WE SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS WORK LAST (PART OF A WHOLE HOUSE REMODEL). THE JOB DIDN'T HOLD UP WELL - IN PART BECAUSE THEIR WAS CONSTRUCTION (FALLING PLASTER, WORKMEN, ETC) IN THE HOUSE AFTER IT WAS FINISHED. STILL - THE TUB HAD NEVER BEEN USED AND IT STARTED PEELING. SCOTT CAME OUT TO FIX IT - WHICH WAS MUCH APPRECIATED, BUT DID BLAME THE PROBLEM ON ME. IN REALITY, HE SHOULD HAVE ADVISED TO BE THE LAST ONE TO COME IN TO WORK SO THAT IT WOULD REMAIN IN PRISTINE CONDITION (I HAD SPECIFICALLY ASKED IF IT MADE A DIFFERENCE).
