Hughes LLC did a less than satisfactory job on the addition/renovation of our home. We added a new master bed/bath, flipped two bathrooms, added a porch with retractable screens and outdoor cooking area and expanded our kitchen. When the job started I knew we were in trouble when is framing crew left the job frustrated by Phil and went to work for another company, Well, since that time the porch off the master bedroom and ceiling over the outdoor cooking area continue to leak. We have stains, puddles and wood rot. In the house, the baseboard and trim surrounding the door frames are not flush with the hardwood floors. I am still going around the house and spraying foam insulation into large gaps so cockroaches don't come through. To continue, Phil's painting crew lacks all skill. The interior doors were put in before they were cured, leading to them shrinking. They were painted and as they shrunk bare wood became visible. They came over to cover these areas up and started using the wrong color paint, stopped once they realized it, and have not been back. The method by which they painted the shutters have left them with multiple large bubbles. And last, the electrician somehow blew the fuse/electrical power to the backyard patio's fountain and outdoor lighting. My attempts to contact and get some action from Phil, his painters, his electricians and somebody to fix the horrible leaks around my porch have fallen on deaf ears. I would strongly suggest that anybody considering Hughes for a large house project think twice. Then a third time.
