In the beginning (during sales process) the team was extremely helpful at answering all our questions. This was not the first time in owning a pool, however it was a first time having fiberglass and salt water.  Our project originally wasn't to start until mid-March, but due to some conflicts, they requested we start sooner.  We got started on February 9th, the AlasGlas company did an excellent job with digging and installing the actual pool (in and out in a day).  Then we had several weeks of bad weather which delayed the cement decking.  The cement crew once able to pour, also did an excellent job, we couldn't be more pleased with how it come out (we did approximately 1200sq feet with the rock salt-looks amazing). Where we experienced our issues was with the project management along the way.  We never were abreast of what was going to happen next or why.  We would call into our project manager (who we could only call via the main office - who was never there - so we would have to leave a message and wait for a call back).  There was much miscommunication and lack of guidance from a company whose only job is to do this type of work. Both my spouse and I are in the business of project management and know strong leadership perhaps that is why we easily recognize weak abilities too.  I suppose in the long run with all the bumps along the way it was well worth it, as our pool does look like the
tropical stay-cation we were anticipating.  It?s now 15 days from last inspection (which finally passed), and still no follow up call from the Charlotte Fiberglass team to see how things are going - where's the customer service?? Once paid haven't heard from them.

The project was a lot faster than expected. The pool was installed in 1 day!! We had them arrive early in the morning, they starting digging the hole and by the end of the day was the pool was in the ground and filling with water! It rained a couple days so we had the electric to our pump hooked up a few days later. After that we had the concrete put around the pool not too long after. All in all the project went well. We are pleased with our pool and it's been amazing so far. No need to carry the baby, towels and kids toys to the community pool this year.

I would highly recommend them!

Unfortunatly do to weather, my project was delayed .
The retaining wall process went well. The crew that put up my wall were excelleant . You could tell this wasn't the first time they did this type of work. I couldn't have asked for a better crew to do this.
After the wall and backfill dirt was finished, the pool installers came out and Layed out a templet of my pool and dug out the hole. They took precision measurements to insure the pool would be level. The pool was delivered and put into place. Then they hooked up the pool equipment and I had a water truck deliver about 10,000 gallons of filtered water. This saved a lot of time instead of using a garden hose to fill. This didn't fill the pool all the way. The tile man came out and tiled the pools water line with the selected tile we picked out. Then I topped off the water level and fired up the pool filtration. During the final water filling, charrlotte fiberglass was on site to make sure the pool equipment work as it was supposed to. Now my concrete deck can be done and I had the concrete overlay the top of the pool with a bullnose edge. Now my fence can be installed and were good to go swimming. Actually during the whole project, Charlotte fiberglass was on site. If I had any issues and they weren't around, they were a phone call away and responded immediately.
I do have one issue with the product that was used on the steps. The manufacture of this product had a problem which allows the product to peel off. I am scheduled this spring to have the product removed and the new product put on.

I looked into liner pools and also concrete pools which I had back in California . I am very happy with a fiberglass pool. Extremely easy to clean, a lot easer than the concrete plaster pool I use to have.

All I can say is do your homework before buying. I did and I'm very satisfied with my purchase through Charolette fiberglass.
