Of the three repair companies I contacted, this was the only company who: 1. would come out the next day and 2. could fix a bottom style freezer from Kenmore. They arrived promptly, were friendly and effectively repaired the broken refrigerator. It's working like a charm and my wife, who was at home at the time of the repair, went out of her way to call me and tell me how helpful they were; that alone says a lot!

When I called in, they claimed they had no records of servicing my house before. When I told them I had a receipt they informed me they only warranty for 90 days. Save the money and hassle and go some place else. Extremely unprofessional and did not even offer to come back out under any circumstances.

The quote they gave me over the phone was not at all what it cost me, and he was only here 5 minutes. It was very misleading.

They ran a diagnostic test and determined that a valve needed to be replaced.  This was for a rental property so they called us to tell us the cost.  The part was $64 plus $75 for labor and an additional $75 for service call and diagnostic test ($219 total).  We let then know that we thought was very high.  However, as we have a tenant that needs a working dishwasher, we okayed the repairs.  If we had not given them approval to repair the dishwasher, we would still have had to pay for the service call and diagnostics test.
This is the 3rd and last time we will use Plaza Appliance Service Company.  Charging $75 for labor on top of $75 for a service call and diagnostics test for a simple valve replacement is outrageous.  The entire service call took 25 minutes from start to finish.  The $75 labor charge for 25 minutes of work is the equivalent of $180 an hour!  I have no problem being charged a fair price for someone's services, but a labor charge should be based upon the actual time it takes to perform the service. And a charge for a simple diagnostics test on top of the labor charge and the charge for the service call is ridiculous.
To their credit, they were on time for the appointment on the scheduled day.  We do not yet know if the replaced part fixed the problem with the dishwasher so we will have to update the review once we know for sure.

They called when they were on their way as I requested, showed up on time and had the parts needed to fix it the first time! Very efficient and professional!

went great. Came on time, were polite and efficient, installed the dishwasher quickly, removed the old dishwasher, then cleaned up afterwards. They tested the machine to see that it was working correctly. Great service.
I wouldn't, however, recommend buying Kitchenaid......many problems and ultimately in less than three years had a major failure and had to be replaced.

Plaza is a great company to work with. From the time we called to getting an appointment was very quick. The repairman arrived on time and was very knowledgable. He quickly diagnosed the problem of the bad arm on the ice machine and had a replacement part in his truck. He not only fixed the ice machine but made sure the water lines were working properly and the filtered water came out correctly (neither worked before he came). Overall was quick and reasonably priced. I would definitely call Plaza again anytime we have an app lice with a problem in our house.

Technician left his tool on side of sink and when it fell it broke cook top. If not securing tools and customer property appropriatly causing damage was bad enough the technician blamed a fat, old cat incapable of jumping there. This is particularly frustrating as I believe they they were taking advantage of my older mother. When I spoke with Chris, who claimed to be a supervisor, he said that he nor his technician were in no way responsible and did not want to entertain any compensation. When I suggested that he pay 50% of replacing the items he hung up on me. Chris made ZERO attempt to make this situation right.
I fully understand the service-industry and have family members that work in a related industry who said that they are 100% responsible for securing their tools and the customer property they are working with and they should have expected animals and/or children in a residential property.
Shame on this company for not being responsible. Shame on the technician for lying. Shame on Chris, the technician, and this company for taking advantage of an older person.
Do not let this company in your home or business. Things may end up in a worse state than when you called them.

We had recently moved and our dryer, which worked fine at our old home did not properly heat at our new address. We called and a service tech came to our home and evaluated the problem. After some investigation, he didn't have any real idea as to the source of the problem but said we had two parts that needed replacing which he would have to order. He got the parts in when expected and quickly came out to install them, at no additional charge. However, replacing them did not fix our dryer and I have no reason to believe the parts were bad or needed to be replaced.
The problem turned out to be an electrical problem which the Appliance tech failed to identify or resolve, instead charging us for a service call and 2 new parts.

Called on a Monday morning and had a technician there that same afternoon. Technician (Dustin) turned on washing machine to listen and immediately diagnosed the issue as a defective pump. Technician did not have a spare but had one in stock at the shop. The following day, meeting was scheduled at my convenience. Both days extremely prompt. Also good communication via phone by tech to confirm scheduling. Repair was performed within 30 minutes. Dustin was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional.

Repairman came (went to the wrong house first, and called me to say he was in my driveway...but he wasn't). He replaced the nylon cable, and in order to do so, he had to turn off the water under the sink and disconnect the small hose leading into the dishwasher. He repaired the door (maybe a 30 minute job), I tested the door...it worked just like new. The next day when I went to run the dishwasher, there was no water going into the machine. We tried turning the valve under the sink, thinking the repairman just forgot to turn it back on...but it made no difference. We called them and they told us to a few things to check for. No change. The next day we called them and the repairman returned and said we needed a new valve. REALLY??? I didn't need a new valve until he worked on it. O...and he doesn't do that...I would have to call a plumber. I will not use them again...my dishwasher was operating perfectly until their repairman worked on it. Now I have a plumber coming tomorrow...probably another $200. Bad, bad experience. We have used them multiple times in the past with no major complaints. But never again

The service tech was great. Came on time, was super polite and professional and went right to work. He determined that we needed a new sensor for the icemaker. Not a cheap part (about $115) but he had it with him and installed it on the spot. He then opened the oven, removed the rear wall and discovered that the bolt holding the fan had come loose, causing the fan to rattle and generally not perform. He fixed this in less than 3 minutes from the time he opened the oven. Total service time in the house was about an hour.
I had a $50 coupon through the Big Deal. After applying the coupon, the invoice he wrote up was for $288.87, making the total bill $338.87. Subtracting the cost of the icemaker sensor, left well over $200 for the service call and labor. I asked him about this and he indicated that they charged for a service call plus $60 for each appliance worked on plus the labor for the time worked over an hour. When I questioned this, he indicated that he had no flexibility at all.
Bottom line is that I was extremely pleased with the work and the outcome and know that the tech was competant, but I think that their pricing policy is extreme. At a minimum, there needs to be some flexibility. If this is the standard in the market, then I am glad that we have not had issues with other appliances.
I give them high marks for everything but price.

I have had two previous problems with the GE Profile oven. All related to the heating of the oven. Once was the igniter. Months later it was heating coil. Plaza Appliance came out the next day and repaired it on the day I had these problems. Then was this last problem with the gas valve. I'm thinking that the oven cleaning is causing the problems. Others have confirmed my suspicions.

Bill did a good job. Even called a co-worker with more experience with ice-makers to make sure there wasn't anything else he could do to make sure all was good.
