A hole was left under the ovens on installation that the owners said they would repair- despite innumerable repeated calls and emails no one ever returned for the repair. During the installation the installer disconnected the power to my warming drawer and the owner also refused to return to reconnect it. I now know that within my Myers Park community this business is not considered responsible or ethical. Avoid using.

Terrible. I requested the quietest decibel (Sones) range hood available. The hood had to be installed before hearing it and it is incredibly loud. The installer dropped the range hood and gouged and scratched my newly installed cabinets. I requested the cabinets and wall damage to be repaired. Company owner has tried to bully me into letting him and the installer come to my house for a meeting. They have photographs showing the exact damages. The cabinets were finished by a professional the same week the installer damaged them. They refuse to uninstall the range hood. They refuse to pay for the damage to be repaired.

two man crew showed up as scheduled...wired, installed, and leveled the new range/oven and carted off the old drop-in....all in the span of 30 minutes

I've been doing business with them since 1978 and when there is a problem, he is there. They are prompt. They get the job done when they say they would. They said that they would deliver the next morning first thing and they were here. They called at 7:30 and they were here at 8:00. They have some things that are better priced than others but I go to them. The only time I would leave them and go to someone else is for the product line, when I wanted another product line that they didn't get.

Excellent. Jimmy Johnson was a terrific sales rep. He we very patient and cooperative with us as we shopped around and asked a lot of questions. He was very knowledgeable about the products and worked hard to try and save us money. He was not your typical "pushy" sales person and we really enjoyed working with him.

It is a company that is well regarded and is highly rated. I was prompted to use them because they offered a $500 credit in free groceries with the purchase of a certain amount. You pick your store and buy at least $100 worth of groceries, and once you send the receipt into the organization, they will verify the receipt and send you a $25 gift card. This was to be good for 20 months, and would amount to $500 in all. I never received the rebates, and when I spoke with Plaza, they said that the organization went bankrupt. They said they had made arrangements with another organization, and told me I needed to start again with the same process. They assured me that the second company would honor the promotion. After several more months of sending in my receipts to the second organization without receiving a rebate, I just received an email from the organization saying that they did not have enough money to pay me. Plaza stands by the company and said the organization would pay me eventually. However, the Better Business Bureau has nearly 300 complaints about the organization. The letter you see below from Bill Pleasants, Jr., the general manager of Plaza, is totally bogus. It is copied from an e-mail from My Free Travel which has gone out of business. Plaza knew this when it sent its response to Angie's List. In my report, I state that Plaza dealt with one company that went out of business and then made arrangements with My Free Travel to honor Plaza's commitments. This is what a Plaza store manager and Mr. Pleasants told me. Research reveals that the first company alluded to by Plaza was just a "front" used by My Free Travel. This information can be conrfirmed on the Chicago and Joliet, Illinois BBB websites. Plaza has lied and is attempting to cheat the consumer. Avoid this company at all costs.

It was low pressure and pretty easy experience. We looked around and picked up something with a good price. We had bought things there before. They charged extra for the delivery, but we took care of it ourselves. We could have spent a lot less, but got a less quality one. We did negotiate with the price. One thing I liked was that they told us that they would be getting another shipment within a day or two, so that we could make our decision after that. The customer service was pretty good and I would use them again.

The salesman, Rick, was very helpful and helped me select models with the most bang for my buck. He also found me a fridge for $300 that was perfect but was beige and being sold as a scratch and dent, even though it was perfect. My only problem was with delivery. One of the stoves delivered was the wrong model, but they corrected it the next day.

Mac, Brian and others at Plaza were very knowledgable about their products and took the time to review with us several different lines of appliances. Pricing was competitive and the install team was professional and quick. They seemed more knowledgeable about their product lines and installation than their competitors. Purchased dishwasher, fridge, oven and microwave (needed special under the hood installation and cabinet moving).

WE HAD A HARD TIME DECIDING WHERE OUR APPLIANCES SHOULD BE PLACED. WE WENT BACK TO THE STORE SEVERAL TIMES TO MEASURE THE APPLIANCES. THEY LET US KNOW THAT FOR A FEE, SOMEONE COULD COME OUT AND LET US KNOW WHERE THE APPLIANCES SHOULD BE PLACED WHICH WAS VERY HELPFUL. FOR EXAMPLE, I WANTED MY MICROWAVE OVER MY STOVE, BUT THEY LET ME KNOW THAT IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE. NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES WE CHANGED OUR MINDS, RICK FURR CONTINUED TO BE PATIENT AND SPENT AS MUCH TIME WITH US ANSWERING OUR QUESTIONS AS GIVING US INFORMATION. HE NEVER PRESSURED US. PLAZA CAN GIVE YOU RESOURCES TO DO EVERYTHING INVOLVED IN THE INSTALLATION PROCESS. I WAS HAPPY WITH EVERYONE THEY SENT TO OUR HOME AND AM VERY PLEASED.
