Jim was very knowledgable. He took his time with us when we had questions about the home inspection process. After the inspection, he printed the report at the site and went over everything page by page. We would recommend this service.

Though he stated to me and agent that there were no major problems, he had failed to do other than a perfunctory inspection of crawlspace. The house is about 45 years old and some work needed to be done (which we would have done before placing on the market). With a report that only identified a few minor issues, the house was placed on the market; a contract was signed within two weeks of placing house on the market in February 2013; buyer's inspector identified some crawlspace repairs that needed to be done; though we said that they would be done, the contract was withdrawn. The only recourse from this failure by Matson to provide appropriate services, was to sign a release of liability in order to get a refund. I cannot speak to the quality of work by other franchisees but I would not recommend the individual we worked with, and I cannot state that we received any satisfaction from the national office of this company in trying to work this out.
