PETE'S AUTO SERVICE

This review is long overdue. I met a car dealer at Pete's to have a pre-purchase inspection performed. They inspected the car, which looked beautiful and we were going to buy that day. But Pete took me aside after the car dealer left and warned me not to buy the car and told me numerous reasons why it would be trouble for me down the road. He spent much time "dumbing it down" for me so I really understood the risk to purchasing this car. Very honest folks that spent much much time educating me and preventing me from making a mistake. Thank you Pete for saving us from buying a lemon!!!

They were fine. Their price was high. They have been very professional, very courteous, and I would recommend them to other people. Their hourly rate is very high, but they are reputable. They are willing to work on anything that I take in. I took one of my vehicles in for a post check up, and there was no charge.

We have had all sorts of mechanical work done there and we are very satisfied with their service. When we had problems in the past, they have fixed it and if the problem re-occurred, they have fixed it at no extra charge. They are honest and guarantee their work and their prices are fair.

They did a great job. I had been to Pete’s years ago for another vehicle which is why I came back. I had anticipated that the vehicle would need a lot of work so I explained to them what my thinking was. They did the estimate first and let me know what it would cost. He told me if there were things that could be done but wouldn’t be worth it for this vehicle. I felt like they were fair and timely about fixing my automobile. My old vehicle ran great after they fixed it; I certainly got my money’s worth from the repair work. This job was a couple of months ago and there are no problems. What really stands out in my mind is that the garage is spotless. They have window into the garage and it was the first time I had seen a garage that clean. As far as I know, the price is fair.

I use my own vehicle for work and I put on a lot of miles. He may not be the cheapest in town but he is the most honest. He tells me that I have more time on my brakes and I have things going on in my car, so he gets the most going for the parts. I spent $1600 on that work. He tells me when something needs to be done and won’t sell me something that I don’t need. He definitely takes care of me. He is upfront and honest. He is always punctual and responsive. He tells me when he is busy and by when the work will be done. He is extremely professional.

Pete (the owner) worked on my pick-up personally. To save me $$, he put lots of time in checking out various items before installing new parts. I believe most auto repair places would have just replaced the computer from the beginning and not tried to see if it were a less expensive repair. I have taken my vehicle to Pete's many times because I trust him and his mechanics to only do the necessary repairs. In fact, I took the truck in to have the transmission over hauled and was expecting to spend lots of money and Pete said I only needed more transmission fluid. I believe most other places wouldn't have told me that and went ahead with the repairs. While I may spend a few more dollars at Pete's, it is well worth it to deal with an honest auto repair shop.
