"Thank you for the feedback. We were surprised and disappointed to receive this review, particularly considering you posted another review on this same date with an exceptional "A" rating which is much more indicative of our level of service. We designed a plan using a specified plant list that the customer provided. The customer verified the plan and contracted us to do the work. We performed the work in August of 2015. Our designer and project manager were on site for the start of the project, unloaded the plants and had the customer verify each individual piece prior to the installation. The installation was flawless and the client was very satisfied upon completion. In October of 2016 when the customer contacted us 14 months after the installation. He noted that 2 shrubs had died. Since he did not have a professionally installed automated irrigation system we only offer a 90 day warranty on our plant material as we have no way of knowing what type of watering schedule and maintenance is being done on the plants. This was over a year beyond the initial installation so it fell outside of our 90 day warranty. At this time the customer also noted that he was not happy with the weeping Japanese Maple which had been in the ground for over a year. The client voiced no concern over any plant material 14 months prior when the installation took place. The customer requested that we replace the tree, which was of perfect health, which we were not able to do. Replacement of living plant material outside of a signed warranty is not common practice for any landscape contractor. We did offer to install a new tree at an agreed upon cost. The client informed us he would find a suitable replacement and contact us for installation pricing. We have received no additional communication until this baseless inaccurate account of the events."
