Brick and Stone Patios, Walks, and Steps - Install
We recently had our fence line cleared, yard leveled and brick pavers installed by Paragon Landscape Management, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The crew was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. They took the time to understand our vision, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered results that exceeded our expectations. For example, we mentioned that the area behind our garage frequently got muddy but we weren't ready to commit to installing sod in the area. They suggested mulch and it has worked so well these past few months and looks wonderful! Plus our dog rarely tracks mud into the house now.
Our project was overseen by Jack and Martin who were fantastic and communicated with us throughout. The workmanship is flawless, and the attention to detail shows in every corner of the space. We've gotten so many compliments on it!

This is what was done - removal of stump grindings & unwanted plants. Created a small berm in front yard. Installed 34 new plantings. Created an expanded natural area in back yard. Created a flagstone path along side of house. Plus, flagstone landing off of rear garage entry door. Price included all materials such as approx. 30 flagstones, 12 yards screened fill dirt, 8 yards of double hammered mulch, etc. Jason was great to work with as he listened to my desired changes and went from there. Very happy with the end result.

Everything went very well. The plan was good, the installation was excellent! The crew was professional, fast, and attentive to detail. They asked for confirmation when there was a question and tweaked the plan as needed to fit our topography and existing trees. We couldn't be happier!

Paragon was professional, reasonably priced, and performed all tasks as discussed in our initial meeting and estimate. I would highly recommend them, and I will only use them for any future landscaping needs. From start to finish, it was a breeze to work with them, and the results are amazing!!!

They messed up something; I didn't discover it until later. Where the flower bed is they were supposed to take that dirt completely out and use the soil in the back. When I bought the house, it had a baseball field buried in it and they basically just went over the top of it and put it in. Then they put the sprinkler system and on the one side they want to give up with what they thought was the property line wasn't the property line now on the other side of that I have dead grass. The staff was good. They let me know what was going on.

We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the project. The final product came out looking exactly like Jason's 3D computerized renderings. Blessed with good weather, the project was completed in the two week period expected. I was very impressed with the work ethic of the crew (there were some 10+ hour days), and Paragon makes extra effort to clean up the site completely when finished. When we ran in to the inevitable issues one might expect with a large project as this one, such as coordinating electrical lines with a contractor, or the unexpected discovery of buried phone lines, they were able to adapt, coordinate and push forward. This organization is professional. I really have no complaints of substance. And we may be having them back again in the future to do a project on the front yard.

If I could give Paragon Landscaping 100 stars I would! They have just finished a large project for us ..a beautiful brick and bluestone patio with a firepit and a fountain. We also completely re-landscaped all around our house. Jason Birch designed everything and the employees that worked for him were terrific. Everyone was there every day with Jason checking in several times a week. Any time there was a change Jason worked quickly to figure out the best way to address it. Communication was great. They are great about staying in touch. The company also maintains our yard and have done a wonderful job. You must talk to them if you are planning an outdoor project or landscaping and/or need yard maintenance...

I had an excellent experience. Their price was high. We're going to call them soon to do the backyard. They were able to do designs in addition to the actual landscaping and hardscaping. He was very professional. All of our plants lived which was unusual with a landscape company. The work was very professionally done.

I had a terrible experience with them. I was very dissatisfied. I have had them twice but the first time they were okay raising the garden bed. The price was alright but $1 would be too much based on what they did. They drew a plan for me and there is one area in front of my house that gets very wet. They put in about 15 plants but they were inappropriate and they all died. Secondly, they did not space the plants well. The placed them entirely too close together. Thirdly we had purchased a very choicey whipping Japanese maple tree which has branches hitting the ground. They where very expensive. It is a short tree and cost $250. They gave one that was crooked. He did offer to put another one in but told me to buy another one.

We were surprised and disappointed to receive this review, particularly considering you posted another review on this same date with an exceptional "A" rating which is much more indicative of our level of service. We designed a plan using a specified plant list that the customer provided. The customer verified the plan and contracted us to do the work. We performed the work in August of 2015. Our designer and project manager were on site for the start of the project, unloaded the plants and had the customer verify each individual piece prior to the installation. The installation was flawless and the client was very satisfied upon completion. In October of 2016 when the customer contacted us 14 months after the installation. He noted that 2 shrubs had died. Since he did not have a professionally installed automated irrigation system we only offer a 90 day warranty on our plant material as we have no way of knowing what type of watering schedule and maintenance is being done on the plants. This was over a year beyond the initial installation so it fell outside of our 90 day warranty. At this time the customer also noted that he was not happy with the weeping Japanese Maple which had been in the ground for over a year. The client voiced no concern over any plant material 14 months prior when the installation took place. The customer requested that we replace the tree, which was of perfect health, which we were not able to do. Replacement of living plant material outside of a signed warranty is not common practice for any landscape contractor. We did offer to install a new tree at an agreed upon cost. The client informed us he would find a suitable replacement and contact us for installation pricing. We have received no additional communication until this baseless inaccurate account of the events."

They were very professional and the lawn looks great! We are waiting for it to cool down before planting new shrubs, but the project should be done by October.
