NASCAIR is North and South Carolina AIR, a residential heating and cooling service company. NASCAIR specializes in service, maintenance and replacement of air conditioning and heating equipment. At NASCAIR, we know how to install air conditioning systems and A/C systems better than any of our competitors, hands down. We know this because there are no sales people, no subcontractors, no amateurs allowed. We, David and Jay, install each job ourselves with the assistance of helpers. We oversee every aspect of the job from start to finish. We do the best job of designing duct sealing duct and getting air to whatever part of the house that needs it, period.

I needed a whole house humidifier replaced. The company servicing my house preferred installing a bypass vs the steam I had. I contacted David via a friends recommendation and quickly determined he knew a lot about humidificario. Ended up with April Aire 800. They removed my old one and added the new one. Price came down from original quote because 220v and water line were already there. System is working great

Craig from Nascair contacted me about 5 minutes after the slated appointment letting me know he was on his way. Very professional, clean cut, courteous, I enjoyed talking to Craig about the specifics of my equipment and things that needed to be done. Craig was more informative and clear explaining issues (with pictures he took) than anyone I've ever had working on my HVAC. They will definitely get my business again in the future.

We've used Nascair for over 4 years now and they've been just great. The service team is solid, reliable and knowledgable. They've also helped us with working on our existing ductwork that wasn't getting enough air flow to rooms. We appreciated the fact that they started small vs. trying to sell us something that we didn't need. That is why we stay with them!

The installers, Alex, Luis, Yelson and Brandon were awesome. They spent roughly 60 hours in my home for exactly one week. Every inch of old ductwork was removed as well as the old line sets and of course the units. They protected all my floors and cleaned up each day. David (owner) personally visited and checked on the install as well as Michael (who handled the initial consult, pricing and design) also visited. I can say without a doubt that I got EVERY pennies worth. The new units and installs are perfect and I couldn't be more pleased.

The service went very well. I noticed the heat pump was not cooling properly on Monday morning. I made a few calls that day to local HVAC businesses and most said it would be 4 to 5 days until they could get my job on their schedule. Nascair checked their books and said they could come the next day (Tuesday) at 9:00 AM. The service technician, Danny, was right on time. He was a very nice guy, and knew his stuff. He determined what had gone bad, the starting capacitor, saw that the contactor was going bad, so he replaced that part too. He cleaned the coils of the units, and charged the system. Was about a 2 hour job, he showed me what he was doing and went over the old parts, let me know why he was doing the repairs he was making. It was excellent service, I do recommend this company.

We hired a general contractor to build a new deck and screened porch.  As part of their proposal, they included a fee and services to relocate our existing gas grill line which was mounted on the previously existing deck.  Nascair was the general's selected subcontractor to perform the services.  Since our fee was part of the general's proposal, I listed price as N/A as I don't know what Nascair would have charged me directly.  My experience with Nascair was generally good, and I am very happy with the end result of the  work.  I thought they were very responsive.
I have only one issue, possibly nit-picky in someone else's eyes, that lead to a C for "Professionalism" and B "Overall."  Workers were on site twice, once for initial rough-in installation, and again for final install.  Under the new deck, I had temporarily placed a package of roofing shingles left over from the roof install of the new porch.  I planned to keep them for future maintenance and/or repair work on the house.  After the worker's first visit, I noticed under the deck that one of them had taken a sheet of the shingles, and used it to either lay on or kneel on while working under the deck.  I thought it was improper they would consume "my stuff" as a convenience to them.  The shingle was left where they had used it, along with some misc plastic bag trash.  After their final visit, I looked under the deck again and my jaw dropped.  They had helped themselves to six more sheets of "my" shingles from the package and laid them out on the ground as a blanket to lay on while doing their work.  Worse, when they were done, they left it all in place  along with the other trash.  I thought it was disrespectful of "my" property and highly unprofessional.  I was home at the time, and would have gladly offered one of my tarps to lay on.  Beyond that, I would have thought they'd have their own tarp for such situations.  Having said this, the crews were otherwise very good.
I have no reason to believe Nascair as a whole is less than professional in their work and how they run their organization. My intent for this feedback is to provide constructive criticism that might be used to better educate and train the crew.

Called and they were able to come the same day right before a holiday weekend. Craig is the technician who always services our house and knows the history was prompt, courteous and of course knowledgeable. He always gives plenty of options for repairs. Pros and Cons. He takes his time to answer any questions, I am sure I always put him behind schedule but he never seems rushed. The company has always gone the extra mile to maintain our "builder" systems that are showing their wear and tear way to early in their service life. Nice job again!

Another service company was sent by the home warranty company and quoted us $600+ to replace a zone board that was not broken. We called Nascair because the company contracted by the home warranty company gave a explanation and quote that didn't seem quite right.
The Nascair technician arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and did a diagnostic test on the board and discovered it was working fine.  A wire was not connected correctly and was causing the furnace to not operate properly. The service technician explained and documented everything, and  was thorough in fixing the problem.  They saved us $500 by a correct diagnosis of the problem.  I have a warm house and Nascair has a happy customer.

Nascair was recommended to me along with other companies by John and Dave from the John and Dave radio program on WBT. I am so glad I chose NASCAIR. Sal and I am so sorry I don't remember the other technician's name were great, they were punctual, professional, honest. They adjusted my furnace and did not try to sell me services I did not need.  Another company who I will not name came by a week earlier and tried to sell me a new furnace which NASCAIR said I did not need at this time.  From this point on, I will always use them and will highly recommend them to others.

These guys are the best. During 25 years of homeownership in Charlotte, we have used other heating/AC folks, all of whom gave us satisfactory service. Nascair, though, is the over and above winner in this category, and we will be using them from now on. The company is large enough to provide rapid response and have technicians skilled in every job, but small enough to give personal service. And, most important, the owners and their employees demonstrate a strong work ethic and high level of integrity. They put our comfort and safety first, while providing thorough, cost-effective service. I am glad they are in the business!

Jay and Mike and David all came out on the first visit to look at the areas where a second full HVAC system had been recommended by other HVAC companies.  But NASCAIR recommended the use of energy efficient mini-splits.  I had never heard of the product but I read its use globally and decided that it was exactly what we needed.  The installation went smoothly and the area was left neat when they left.  I so appreciate this recommendation of new technologies that are saving us a bundle.  We are really enjoying our whole house now.

My husband called Nascair on a referrel from another gentleman that worked on our old ac unit. The team was friendly punctual personable. We were going to get more than one quote but after my husband spent time with the service tech he decided to go with them. They did NOT try to upgrade the ac! they recommended exactly what we were told to go with. They did not try to sell us a new furnace. The techs let us know that the unit is fine. I would usethem again without a question!!!!
