From the moment I walked into Myers Park Mortgage, I knew this was the place to go through. Sherry Connor is the most delightful, professional, hard working loan officer I have ever had the privilege to work with. As there are always ups and downs with the home buying process, Sherry never made me feel like I wasn't worth the effort. I would recommend, if you want to be treated with decency and respect, Myers Park Mortgage is the only place to go. It was like working with a long time friend who bent over backwards to make my dreams possible. Thank you Sherry and the team for all that you did for me and my family. What a wonderful group of professionals!!!!

HORRIBLE RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use this company!! Problems began at the very beginning. We were told from Bonterra Builders that if we used their preferred lender we would get our closing costs paid for.. BIG MISTAKE!!! Sales agent told us we would be hearing from them in about 1-2 weeks with their welcome packet,, My fiance and I were so excited, we found a wonderful home that we were going to start construction on in about a month!The welcome packet from MPM never came..after numerous phone calls to MPM our "agent" finally called my fiance back, and there was an excuse that we heard from our "agent" that our neighbors who used MPM and the same agent heard 6 months ago! (they closed 60 days later than their closing date) I had called our agent and left voicemails requesting to be included on emails of information they were requesting and she NEVER added me on list until about 2 weeks before our closing date or call me back. All of the problems that we had (which I could write a book on) I shared with our so called agent (after she FINALLY called me back) and she said the owner of the company would be calling me to discuss because she wants things to end on the right track, I did receive a call from the owner the following day and I went into detail of every issue that we had and he apologized and he would fix all the issues and we would close on time. Well it only got WORSE from there. The owner does not like to hear that one of his agents is unable to perform her job duties --which i received and email from our agent saying that she is unable to do her job and stress of her job and other issues have put her back in the hospital. REALLY??? If you are unable to do your job, she should have given our loan to someone who can handle it. Our family was going to be homeless a week before christmas because of all of this!! The owner ended up yelling at me, threatened me that we were going to have to come up with more money at closing because he didn't like my attitude and made up some other story that our credit scores had changed --which actually after receiving credit score after closing it didn't change. They locked the credit score under the wrong person.  He ended up calling my fiancee after 5pm the night before closing and said that we have to come up with more money!! He was very condescending and RUDE, even made false accusations about me... I could go on and on about the specifics of the problems, which i may at a later date but please run away from this company. We have met our neighbors and every single one of them had the same issues with this agent and the owner. What a coincidence!! We called a couple other Mortgage lenders to try and switch and they even laughed when we told them that we were using MPM because they know how bad of a company they are.

I secured my first mortgage with Myers Park Mortgage in 2007 after a lengthy search for a reasonable mortgage company, and they were always the best value throughout that search. I repeated the process again in 2009 when I refinanced my home, and again they were the best! I can't remember the exact amount I spent any longer, but they definitely had great rates and policies. The staff were extremely personable, and easy to get in touch with throughout the process. If mortgage rates ever drop again or I were to move, then I would definitely go Myers Park Mortgage first.

They have been great to work with. Myers Park Mortgage is a local company and so I knew who I was talking to. It was a personable experience. I could trust them too. I have no idea about the money spent but their price was good.

Dale Shue and his team were fantastic to deal with and kept things on track. I was looking at a closing less than four weeks after the contact was accepted and was told by other big banks that it wasn't possible to get the mortgage paperwork done and funded. Dale and his team made it happen and I got a fantastic rate! Brianne Clegg and Melinda Treadaway provided me everything that I needed via email and were extremely responsive to myself and my agent. The best part of this is that everything went off without a hitch and I am getting settled in my new home.

EXCELLENT MORTAGE BROKER: THEY PROVIDED THE BEST RATES WITH NO HASSLE AND GREAT TURNAROUND. THIS WAS THE SMOOTHEST OF SEVERAL MOTGAGES THAT I HAVE DONE. EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE FEES AND SERVICE PROVIDER RATES (CLOSING ATTORNEY, ETC.)
