Recently, we put our house on the market and had an inspection done. When Miracle Method moved the toilet back into the bathroom, they didn't use a new wax seal and our toilet has been leaking under our house for months. We had no idea. Now there's water damage that we have to deal with and rotting wood.

We had used Miracle Method 10 years ago on the West coast with excellent results so they were who we called even though they charge more than their competition. Charlie Sr. was great and came out to give me the estimate. Where to begin with the issues we had -- they put a large scratch in my hardwood floor with their equipment and also a huge gouge in my bathroom window sill when they placed their exhaust fan in the window. The tape they used for masking pulled the paint and primer off several areas of the newly remodeled bathroom walls. Now regarding the job itself: the first guy came out twice and the finish/texture of the tub was flat and chalky. They sent a second crew out who agreed it was awful and offered to redo it. The result of the second job was a little better than the first, and the crew said they could easily wet sand to get a smoother finish. But when they came back to finish the job, they refused to do any sanding because they were afraid of sanding through the paint. I asked why they didn't put on enough paint to wet sand as promised and they wouldn't answer and told me to call the office if I didn't like it. The only resolution offered was to send Charlie Jr. out to look at it and tell me it looked great to him and it was a job he was proud of. They were not willing to do any further work on the tub and they were not willing to give me any of my $650 back to help me have it redone by someone else. I was shocked that this company really didn't seem to care whether I was happy or not, and I was disappointed that they send out Charlie Sr. as a representative for quotes and he was never accessible to me again after that date. After living with the tub for 5 months I am convinced that they are using different materials than they did 10 years ago. The finish is quite soft, and anything dropped on the surface (shampoo bottle, squeegee) will go right through it and leave a black gouge. Bottom line -- Use one of the less expensive refinishers because MM is not the miracle it once was.

We contacted Miracle Method as we were buying a home to get an estimate. They worked with us to schedule a time we would be able to get back in the home, which was greatly appreciated! As we got closer to the closing date, we contacted them again to schedule the job. Charlie and his crew were scheduled to arrive on Thursday at 1 p.m. and were there ready to go at 12:20 p.m. They completed the job Saturday morning, staying late on Thursday to get the coat on the tile. The guys were reliable, professional and did great work! Our bathrooms look so great now!!

It's quite the 2-day process but it went great. The young man who did the work arrived promptly both days, was knowledgeable and courteous.  A pleasure to have in our home and work with. The completed work looks like granite...very classy. The tub chips and a few places in the coating needed to be repaired. Overall it was a very nice job, something I would do again and would highly recommend to give a fresh updated. I would also recommend visiting the showroom to see your options and workmanship. We were a bit disappointed with one straight horizontal shower ledge that does have the same "richness and sheen" of the surrounding area and counter tops. A polishing added some sheen but the ledge will remain a slightly different color. We were told that happens...but we didn't see it in the showroom. Otherwise all repairs were done to our satisfaction. Thank you Charles Sr and Jr.

Problem is with the the warranty. I have a rental property, the bathtub was painted. The company will not honor the warranty because they say the tenant must have cleaned it with bleach. Tenant said she does not use bleach on the tub. Either way people need to be able to clean their tubs and a lot of cleaning products you use in a bathtub/shower have bleach, abrasives and harsh acids in them. Unreasonable to not honor warranty since it is less than 2 years and they offer a 5 year warranty. Their website states
and quot;Does it require special care?
You’ll find our care instructions are similar to those for most brand new bathtubs or countertops…do not use cleaners that contain abrasives, harsh acids, or bleach. Most bathtubs, sinks and tile become worn and dull due to abrasive cleansers, not from time. and quot;
Does not say that the paint will bubble up and peal off if you use the wrong product. It says finish will become worn and dull.
First the company denied that they had done the job, when I produced a receipt they said warranty was void since tenant used bleach. They did offer to refinish the tub for full cost, did not even offer a discount!

I would absolutely recommend them to my friends it went great.
I was concerned because they did not have an A rating, but I talked to them about the reason and was satisfied with the answers. They were punctual throughout the process that lasted four days. Charlie Jr. was the main person and he was very professional during the entire time. He pointed out areas that may be downsides to the process (some paint may peel bassed on the taping of the bathroom) and what they would do to minimize any ill effects. The job was completed on time. It looks great with minimal paint peeling.

Owner of the company came and gave us an estimate of the work. We looked at both bathrooms, and agreed on the style and color. He said that they needed two (2) days to do the work.
We agreed that they would do the work on a Friday, and then the following Monday. The owner said that he does not have his men work over the weekend (this was a little surprising to me).
We were in the home while they worked on Friday. Upon arrival, my wife reminded me that one of the showers was dripping (which wasn't detected by the Miracle Method rep). When we pointed it out, the installers agreed that this would be a problem, so we made a rush call to a plumber to fix the drip.
The Miracle Method workers were able to continue in the other tub, unhindered.
We left about mid-day on Friday, expecting to see the work completed when we returned on Monday evening.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed. When we returned on Monday evening, everything was still taped up, masked and blocked off. We had not been contacted, and the house smelled awful from the fumes of the materials they were using. We weren't able to sleep that night, even with the windows open (in February), due to the fumes.
After reaching the Miracle Method representative, we found that they would be finishing the job on Tuesday. The workers arrived promptly on Tuesday AM and completed the job.
I think they could have done a much better job communicating with me along the way.
I found it necessary to point out blemishes and have them re-touch some problems in one tub and on the floor.
Afterward, we found that they had completely missed one area, and we had them come back and re-apply to that spot. The rep initially responded that and quot;We don't do thresholds.and quot; But when I pointed out that they had agreed to do them in the contract, and had indeed coated the other threshold, he agreed to fix the problem.
They also didn't properly re-install the drain lever on one tub, which resulted in water leaking into the kitchen below. This was quickly resolved by a plumber we brought in the next day.
On the positive side, the finished product looks terrific, and they even installed some trim work on the sink that makes it look even better.
The crew did a good job cleaning up, but it was necessary for me to re-install the shower curtains, etc...
I was disappointed to find that their masking tape removed paint from our bathroom walls, and the representative did not offer to fix this.
I'm giving them a C on punctuality because it took them a day longer to complete the job then we were led to expect.
I'm giving B on Quality due to the need for us to point out things for them to fix, the paint that got removed, and the problem with the drain lever.
I'm giving less than B rating in Professionalism due to their lack of proactive communication with me.

Charlie came out and gave an estimate the day I called. The price was good and we picked our finish. They came back a week later and spent two days on the job. We had some overspray and I emailed Charlie the night I saw it. A technician was here the following day and took care of those problems. After about a week, the edges (which were formerly wood trim) began to change color and looked like they were stained. We called back, a tech came back out, we scheduled a time for them to correct and they were here right on time. The technician was great, and did exactly what was needed to correct the problem. Overall, we LOVE the look and are very pleased with the service we received.

The price and service were excellent for the work being done. The owner was great to work with and service was prompt. The end product looked great. However, after a year, the counter top coating is bubbling near the stove. Also, with the tub, the basin shows dirty (where people stand) and it will not come clean. We use the recommended shower cleaner on tub. I may hire this company for a future job, but it all depends on the guarantee of the coatings used.

Their service was okay. I thought they were a little overpriced than what they did do. I expected them to do a different process, but they basically just paint over the laminate. I thought it was too pricey for what they did do.

They did the initial job and it was okay. They never followed up on some problems that I had. There were a few touch-up things that they were supposed to do. I did call, but they never responded.

I was very please d with Miracle Method and the finished product of a refinished garden tub and tub enclosure. I can tell from my first step in after this repair/resurface that the bottom of the tub is much stronger than previous repairs performed by other companies. Miracle Method was very efficient and kept me infomed of the progress and answered my questions. The finished product looks better than when the tub was first installed and definitely feels stronger when I stand in the tub. I was very pleased with their clean up efforts as I did not have any residual clean up efforts required on my part. I am happy that I made the right decision to refinish the entire enclosure area.

Good quality, my only complaint was that I requested that the shower floor not be re-done out of fear that it will just chip again. I only wanted the side tiles to be reglazed. They promised that they will scrape the shower floor again if it begins to chip. The person who did the job also left some trash in the bathroom and walked on my newly refinished wood floors with their shoes despite being asked beforehand to take their shoes off prior to entering the house.

In general we were satisfied. The countertops have lived up to its billing and they look fine. They are pretty consistent and he's good at what he does. He gave me a written quote and he stuck to it. The guy he sent out did nice work and he was clean. It's a good value.
