They were on time and did a quality job.  The straw and ground cover all were clean and look excellent. Workers worked efficiently and cleaned up when they left.

Jeff has been taking care of my lawn since 2009 and has done an outstanding job. He is dependable, professional, and communicates with me on a regular basis. He keeps tabs on the health/state of my lawn and lets me know when he thinks I am over/under watering, if the yard is too wet for mowing, etc. Additionally, he does a great job of keeping my yard free of storm debris.

We found him on Angie's List.  He's only been here once.  We just got all the contact stuff nailed down with our home owners association.  He came out the first time on 1st of March.  He's been here one time since and he's doing an excellent job.  He will do mulch and leaf removal but I think that is extra for us.  He's conscientious in the work that he does.  He seems very eager to know what we expect.  He came out when we talked about the contract and walked the premises with the board members.  He wanted to make sure that we were all on the same page so think it’s going to work well.  We are still not in the growing season yet.  We were happy with his work.  There were a couple of glitches area that he didn't cut but it wasn't clear to him that he was supposed to cut those areas.  Once we clarified what we expect of him to do, he was more than willing to do it.  One of the reasons we chose him was because he had 162 positive comments on Angie’s List.  I'm sure our home owner association would not have contracted him if he wasn't reasonable.  So far his quality has been fine and he's very responsive.  We can reach him by email and phone.

Jeff came right over to give an estimate and had a fair price. We have been very happy with the service, he times things so we don't have overgrowth and the lawn looks great.

Jeff was very responsive. He came to my home prior to quoting the price for his services, to see the size and nature of the yard. He was knowledgable about things and conditions that support a healthy lawn. He came for the appointment as we agreed, and answered all my questions--that day and subsequently. After aerating and seeding, called me to be sure to reinforce the watering schedule I needed to do to help my lawn thrive and to see if I had any follow up questions. He handles his business professionally and responds promptly. He has performed ongoing maintenance timely.

Decided to free my DH from the lawn maintenance chores, and hire someone I could hold responsible. One of the best decisions I've made. I priced three competitors. Decided to hire Jeff/Metro Lawn Service. He has been taking care of our lawn since July 2010. Each week I have either had personal contact with him as he maintained the lawn or after completion, letting me know what he was seeing, how the irrigation was working, changes or treatments he had applied, or things we needed to do from our end, such as hire a mole removal company ( we had a huge problem.) His work is quick, meticulous and tidy. The personal communication takes the service to above average. Our grass/ lawn is looking so much better.

Called Metro and Jeff answered promptly. I stated my needs and he scheduled a time to come out later that day. He assessed the job and quoted me a price. I found it very acceptable and asked when he would be able to do the work. He stated right now, if it is ok. I concurred and his two coworkers went to work. Total job took about 20 minutes and went very smooth. He even offered to come back in a week or two to address any bare spots. He and his coworkers were very professional and even cleaned up after the job. He even offered watering and cutting advice for the next 3-4 weeks. Very happy with the experience. Now just waiting for the grass to grow. Thanks to Jeff and metro for a great job!

He was right on time and performed all services agreed to. The workers were very personable and cleaned up before they left.

I called Jeff on Thursday and by Saturday the job was done. He gave me an estimate over the phone based on my approximation of the lawn size, and then dropped the price after he saw that the lawn was a little smaller than I had estimated. Great service, very eager to get the job done quickly, and a very nice guy.

Jeff responded to my email right away. After viewing my property, he prepared an estimate in writing. Since I needed pine needles, Jeff brought them out on a Saturday and introduced himself. He has consistently showed up as requested. I am very pleased thus far.

Jeff responded promptly to my e-mail, came over the weekend to see my yard and gave me his proposal. He started the next week and returns regularly to take care of my small front yard. The price listed is for a month's service.

I recently purchased a home where the lawn had been neglected for a long period of time. Jeff showed up and performed an initial cleanup of the lawn, trimmed hedges, edged the sidewalks and driveways and cleaned up some construction debris that was still in the yard for $90. I was pleased enough with the results that I signed up for weekly service from Metro Lawn Care. The price for monthly service was just a little higher than I was expecting, but this is not unreasonable given the rise in fuel costs over the last few months.

Jeff has consistently provided great lawn care service. Beginning in Spring 2007, Jeff has gone above and beyond all expectations in terms of completing the periodic cuttings as well as non-routine services (pine needles/leaf removal). Jeff is super courteous and communicative, his flexibility in meeting the customer's preferences is outstanding. Happy customer.
