I had an antique maple rocker that had been ruined by chewing puppies. It was a great little chair that my grandparents had given my parents as a wedding present. I also had an antique bookshelf that belonged to my grandfather that the movers had broken a leg off of and they lost the leg. I asked McSwains to repair them .
McSwains gave me a price and an estimated date of delivery. While it seemed a bit expensive at first, once I saw the finished products, I understood. The pieces were gorgeous. They are true craftsmen. And they finished the pieces well before their estimated date.
I could not be more pleased and recommend them HIGHLY. Great work, great interactions, excellent quality, great people to work with. Perfect.

The antique furniture was restored to a condition better than it was before the damage from the move. Mr McSwain did such a fantastic job that it brought tears to the eyes of the family members that the furniture meant so much to, to see it as it was when we grew up. They were so nice to pick all the furniture up and to deliver it completed. I couldn't be more pleased and satisfied with his work. I would use them again and have recommended them to friends who hold family antiques so dear.

McSwains makes high-end quality furniture, so I was surprised when they came back with a reasonable quote to repair my end table that had such an intricate design/pattern. They did a fabulous job! The end table looks brand new, and the wood pattern and design were perfectly restored. I would definitely use McSwain's again and will highly recommend them to others.

McSwain's (father and son) did a fabulous job restoring/repair our furniture. We thought one of the chairs was beyond repair, but they did a fabulous job. We couldn't even tell which chair originally had the large gouge/crack running down the leg and across the back seat. We will definitely use McSwain's again.

Service was easy. I showed up on a saturday (which was very convenient) and they had the repair work done in 4 days. The chairs are now sturdy and can have people actually sit on them. And the repair is completely invisible. I'm very happy with the result.

I was very impressed by the pieces of furniture that McSwain's makes by hand. The quality of workmanship was excellent. I felt very confident that McSwain's was the right place to trust for the repair of a piece of furniture with great sentimental value. The work was completed on time and beautifully. I plan on returning to them to have an heirloom pine dining table refinished and to have deep scratches in my living room end tables repaired.

He does beautiful work. He told me that my furniture was antiques. He did a really good job. They fixed my table that was warped and he made it beautiful again. I will use him again. I have recommended him to friends.
