After forgetting a lot of math I was struggling with a college algebra class when I decided to go back to school. Mark was very patient with me and helped me get an A! He also helped me get an A in Financial Accounting. He is extremely patient and knows the material well. He had a flexible schedule which worked well for me as a working adult going back to school. I would highly recommend Mark.

Mark provided all the materials with a logical progression. We met for 1.5 hour sessions at the Panera in Pineville. He is able to meet at a client's location or at other locations. He established a comfortable rapport with my daughter. She paid attention and was comfortable asking questions and correcting any errors. Her experience in the Fort Mill middle school was difficult as they had 3 teachers throughout the year; there was poor classroom management. Her teachers gave me the impression that she might lack some abilities. However, she learned more from Mark in a relatively short time frame and was caught up on the important concepts in 6-8 sessions 1.5hour sessions. After that, we cut down to once a week sessions. We plan on keeping Mark on retainer during her first high school math class for assistance and review.
I would highly recommend Mark as a math/algebra tutor for middle or high school level students. He is prepared, personable, and professional. He was consistently on time, and it was very easy to set up the next session. His prices were very reasonable. I like the personal attention and his ability to tailor lessons and teaching directly to your student.
