When I brought this to the office manager's attention and explained that I couldn't simply replace the item that they broke, and that it held sentimental value, she asked me to give MaidPro East another chance. I most certainly WILL NOT. It is dishonest and unacceptable to break something in someone else's home, and to then cover it up.
In addition, they never mopped our tile floors, which is the primary reason I hired them in the first place, as I have been experiencing back pain. One would think that mopping kitchen floors (tile) is standard, but apparently it is not with this company. I asked them repeatedly to stop focusing on things such as cleaning the kitchen sink and microwave, so that they would have time to mop the floors, but they still never did. They said I would be wowed, instead I am extremely upset that they broke a sentimental art piece that they should never have touched in the first place, attempted to cover it up, and did a poor job of cleaning our home.

We have a 99% satisfaction rating and we would like to keep it that way. Therefore the employee that was responsible for the breakage and poor service was immediately terminated for not reporting the breakage. Breakage can happen but dishonesty is not acceptable. I honestly do not recall being asked to not touch anything. Cleaning a home actually requires that we touch everything in the home and eventually breakage in inevitable. However, the dishonesty and poor service is not tolerated. As a reminder, the "second chance" we asked for was for cash value of the breakage and a free re-clean which still stands. Just call me and I would be happy to do that for you. I also want to remind you that your cost was $0 as we never charged you for the clean. Unfortunately we are not able to replace sentiment. We feel terrible about that and we are still willing to do whatever we can to resolve the issue. We are always willing to do the right thing."
