Do not purchase any appliances from Lowes. I placed an order to have all my kitchen appliances measured thru Lowes. For 10 days, my wife and I did not get a phone call from anyone to measure the appliances. According to Lowes, R&R Plumbing (Indian Trail, NC) lost the order to measure the appliances. R&R Plumbing is the sub-contractor for Lowes who measure and install the appliances. I spoke with Mr. William Reardon (President) of R&R Plumbing. He was rude, arrogant, loud and threaten to ?blow me up.? Frankly, I am afraid Mr. Reardon could retaliate against me. Mr. Reardon stated that our telephone conversation was recorded. I am requesting that Lowes send me a copy of this (so called) recorded conversation between Mr. Reardon and myself. I am positive nothing will come of my request. As far as I am concerned, Lowes is totally responsible for all of their sub-contractors. On Angie?s List, R&R Plumbing has an overall Grade F on 8% of their reviews. Please, go read these reviews for yourself!
I don’t know if this is a fair evaluation because you’re talking about Lowe’s and then use a completely different guy or company to do the installation job so it’s two completely different reviews so I don’t want to downgrade Lowe’s for the installation. The installation wasn’t good. I don’t know if you can even just put that in there or not. I think you do need to put something down there about the install because when you buy at Lowe’s you getting their installation whatever they use.
Lowe’s did an excellent job. It was good quality product but their installer sucks. Lowe’s did a good job but they have a lousy installer and they might have fixed it by now I don’t know but based on my experience they had so basically if you’re evaluating Lowe’s everything gets an “A” except for their poor installation.
They called several times to be sure the work was done as scheduled and was well done.
