Lowes sent out RR Plumbing to measure and ensure that new appliances could be installed. One appliance was a gas cooktop to replace an electric cooktop. The installer measured and insured me that gas could be installed, but we would need to purchase a new microwave above the cooktop. When Piedmont Natural Gas came out to run the gas line, they refused because the cabinets were too close to the countertop for gas, but the microwave was fine. Everything RR had told me was wrong. I do not understand why this company has a contract with Lowes if they continue to disappoint customers and provide bad service.

They came when they said they would come. The guy put them in, took the old ones out, cleaned up a little bit of water and they've been working fine ever since. One worker came out to put the toilet in. He was top notch.

The sales person that came out charged for having lead, and when it was tested, there wasn't any lead, and they had to reimburse me the extra that they charged me for the lead that wasn't there. I ordered the windows, and when they came, they had all the windows except one which was measured incorrectly, so they had to re-order that one. The salesman gave misleading information and overcharged for it. The quality was good. I had to wait 6 weeks and when they had to reorder, I had to wait another couple of weeks for them to install that one in.

I had a bad experience with them. I bought the door in January or February. It was back ordered and then they ordered the wrong door. It wasn't until June or July that the door was installed, and it's still not great. But I just got to the point where I didn't want them in my house anymore. In the end, it was really frustrating because you're kind of stuck in this vortex between Lowe's sold the door. It was a special order door that you're dealing with the manufacturer. And because they had independent contractors to install it, nobody would take ownership of the situation. They would all just point to each other. In between February to June, the installers moved to Ohio. There was just nobody to take ownership of it and they weren't interesting in resolving it in a short period of time. One of the issues was the door wouldn't shut completely. I couldn't secure my house if I couldn't shut the door all the way. When I was talking to the manufacturer, they said that somebody from their end couldn't get out until like 10 days. I told them, "You realize I can't shut the door for 10 days? Is that something that you would let go on your house for 10 days?" And they said, "Well, no. But..." I had to get someone else out here.

My husband and I had microwave installed by Lowe?s on 07/23/13. Our microwave is currently tilted, when we tried to contact to repair it, they denied ever installing the microwave. They claim that they had in their records we refused installation and wanted our money back. They had a manager looked it up, and still couldn?t find any place where it was refunded.
Last Monday we paid $35.00 for them to come out to look at the microwave.  To this day, they still have not done this for us and we have not heard anything.

We had a lot of work done.  It’s a lot of B and C type of a thing.  We had a small misunderstanding and difficulty with the weed eater.  We bought a weed eater from them and the lady told us about a normal weed eater, she was a little too much.  They were not gracious as the people with whom I do business, as they are individual business owners, whereas this is a corporation and we were not treated as an individual.  The products we had bought, we had trouble with them.  We had a problem with the weed eater, that’s what we were back to them.  Some of the boards that were used on the deck were average, but not bad.  The price was average and I will still continue to use them in future.

We needed a new water heater and went to Lowe's in Pineville for a consultation.  We learned a lot about water heaters and decided to go with them after reviewing a number of listings on Angie's List who showed considerably higher prices.  The tech came out on Tuesday, evaluated the situation for $35, advised that our old water heater was on its last legs (we knew this from internet research) and indicated Lowe's could install one that same day.  Purchased the water heater over the phone and Lowe's credited me the $35 tech fee, the tech arrived back within 2 hours with new water heater and installed it in less than two hours.  Everything works great!  We are extremely impressed with the responsiveness, great customer service, and professionalism of Lowe's and the install company (Master Installations, I believe) they used to do the work. I would definitely recommend Lowe's and won't hesitate to ever use them again.  Great oeverall experience.

The ordering process was pretty seamless. When I received the vanity it did not come with anything to secure it to the wall. I had to wait a couple weeks to fully install it.

Their prices are higher than the other places. They are competitive if I find something identical at Home Depot. One thing I don’t like about them is that I don’t like the bank they use there. They check what your balance is and lower your credit limits. I don’t like the strategy that they use against the consumer. I try not to go to those stores. I don’t shop there anymore because of the finance company they use. Some things I bought from them did not work. They did not give good customer service. They did not have enough people working and there was nobody there to help.People can buy anything there and they don’t ask.

We kept our paperwork on all purchases and if anything ever went bad they'd trade it out. They've gone far beyond in service what one would expect. Example: We bought a refrigerator from them. Later on, it needed repair. Lowe's brought us a replacement refrigerator until ours could be repaired, then offered to sell it to us for a very cheap price. I wish now we had kept it. This company has been good to us. They even fought to get us an extension on our existing warranty... and did.

The sales person at the store explained the pros and cons of different toilets and sold me the one which I needed. The store provides installation service if desired at a reasonable cost and the plumbing contractor even picked up the toilet at the store. This was good service and the toilet has worked great.

The process was extremely well handled from beginning to end! The sales process was smooth and honest. We were told it would take approx. 3-4 weeks after measurement in our home until installation. Two weeks after the measurement the granite was installed and looks beautiful. The workmen (2) were professional and courteous, they left our kitchen spotless!

Phil Turner at Lowe's was great to work with. He set up a measuring appointment for us and calculated pricing for a number of options for us, since we were originally looking at doing 1 of the rooms with hardwood. They subcontracted the work out to another company for the measurement as well as for the installation. They got everything done in about 1 1/2 days. We are very happy with their work and the end result. We didn't do a lot of comparison shopping, but I believe we got a pretty good price, since Lowe's had 20% off of special order flooring at that time.

Lowe s contracts the work out and the company they hired was excellent. I stopped by Lowe s on a Saturday and spoke to a sales clerk about carpets. Within 2 days, the carpet company called to set up my measurement appointment. Lowe s called less than 2 days later to let me know my measurements were in. The sales clerk at Lowe s walked me through the process by informing me about my carpet choices and then by going over my invoice in detail. When the carpet arrived (in about 8 days) the carpet installation company called to set up my installation appointment. The master bedroom has odd angles and you can barely tell where the seams are. Very satisfied with my carpet choice and installation.

The end product was satisfactory but the installation process was awful! The installers never kept promises and attempted to install plywood stair risers, a far cry from the solid wood they agreed to in the initial quote. The process required several additional visits and on one occasion the installers were two hours late. My floors look nice but I would never use them again.
