I had to wait a few days after my initial call because they were booked up. They arrived early the day of the appointment. I explained what I needed to have done, and they went to work. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. When it was time to pay, I was asked how I heard about them. When I said Angie's List, I was given a 10% discount. (The coupon is listed -- I had forgotten to ask about it when they arrived). I'll use them again the next time I need electrical work.

Great - I contacted Bobby after getting two very high quotes. He quoted me his prices right over the phone and promised they would not change. He is booked two weeks out which I think is a great sign. He showed up on time, did all of the work, came back the next day to wrap up, left things cleaned up, did great work.

Lights were installed promptly and at a good price. Bobby was honest about what made sense given the age of the house. We would definitely use him again.

Understandably, they had some difficulty tracking various wires down that the first electrician had used. But they did not try to accomplish the full consolidation of the electric to all inside junction boxes, saying it was too difficult. They had an unusual amount of problems getting 3 way switches right. And the hot tub wiring was not done to code and required 2 additional trips back to get us approved, which they should have known about.

Mr. Lindsay was prompt, courteous and more than willing to go out of his way to do a job correctly and well. I will certainly use his company in the future and will recommend him to friends and neighbors.

The owner was very responsive to my needs. He knew what the problem was, scheduled a time to come back with the part and fixed it without issue. Not a big job but I was appreciative he took on a small job and charged a fair price to fix it.

Bobby arrived right on time, assessed the situation and had me up and running in under an hour. He was able to determine a solution which worked very well and was not costly. Super nice guy and outstanding service all around. I would definitely call Lindsey Electrical in the future and recommend them to friends/family.

I recently bought a new stove and the installer said that the outlet box was in the wrong place and he could not slide the stove all the way back to the wall. He recommended I call an electrician to have it moved. I checked Angie's List and selected Lindsay Electrical because of the outstanding ratings. I called and set up an appointment for Monday morning. Bobby and Ted Lindsay arrived at the scheduled time and corrected the problem in just a few minutes. Their level of service was excellent and I would definitely call them again.

Contacted Bobby Lindsay on Monday afternoon. He promised to call me back in the evening, and he did. He arranged for his partner (Ted Jr) and his partner's father (Ted Sr.) to be at my house first thing Tuesday AM, and they arrived right on schedule. Ted quickly discovered that our circuit box was incorrectly labeled and that a tripped circuit was in fact from the faulty line to the septic box. They tracked the wire throughout the crawlspace to a junction box at the front of our foundation, and found that from that point the current was good. So after digging near the septic box Ted discovered that the underground wire had a butt splice which turned out to have shorted out. So they ran to a local supply store to get an underground splice kit and installed it, and rewired the septic box. They were very responsive to our problem, and did a very good job. I'd use them again without reservation.

Dryer connection was getting 120 volts on one leg and only 6 volts on the other. I called and left a message on Saturday asking for a callback on Monday since it was not an emergency. Bobby called on Monday and we set up an appointment for 2:00 on Thursday. They called back ahead of time to let me know they were on the way and I met them there. They discovered a connection inside the service panel had melted. They repaired it and I was up and running in no time. Since it was such a quick job he didn't even charge me for the full hour. I will use them again anytime I have a need for an electrician. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and all around good guys. They are a small family company and take pride in their work. Outstanding service.

It went wonderfully! Ted and Patrick showed up on time, were professional and did a great job. They were proficient and knew exactly what I wanted done. The cleaned up after themselves and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely call them again.

My only issue was he was a little late. He did call and asked if it was okay if he grabbed lunch first and I said it was fine but worth mentioning nevertheless. Other than that he was nice, detailed and got what I needed done quickly.

These guys were great! On the Sunday before Christmas the time between placing my call and writing a check for a problem solved was less than two hours, and my furnace was back. I called Bobby Lindsay because the circuit breaker to which my furnace is connected kept blowing. Originally I thought the furnace was drawing too much electricity for some reason, but when the heating folks couldn't find a problem, they suggested I call an electrician. Because he was recovering from shoulder surgery Bobby couldn't come himself, but arranged for me to talk with one of his guys. Patrick came over quickly, connected my furnace to a working circuit to be sure that the circuit breaker was the problem, headed to Home Depot for a new circuit, and replaced it very quickly. I would use Lindsay Electric Service and Patrick again in a heartbeat. They were responsive, professional, personable, and reasonably priced.

Excellent. I called Bobby at 11am and they were there there by 12:30pm. He was extremely professional and responsive. His guys immediately identified the problem and took care of it.

We'd been losing power intermittantly in our nursery and guest room for several days. We couldn't run much more than 1 or 2 lights. Bobby was able to come the day after I first contacted him and started by analyzing the breaker box. Fortunately, that was where our problem was. The breaker hadn't been connected to the wire properly. The wire had actually blackened and melted some of its insulation. Bobby stripped and re-attached the wire, then stayed by the breaker box while I turned on every switch on the circuit. No more problems. Bobby was very professional and courteous. Thanks Bobby!

Provided an estimate on the spot, for total job regardless of time, which was nice. Also allowed me option to provide materials, and didn't mark up what he supplied. Very nice and trustworthy, I added some work the day of the job, and that was not a problem. They cleaned up and were done earlier than thought, very refreshing.

Bobby came out on a Friday evening - came right over when I called! He was enthusiastic and funny - you can tell he loves what he does!! Bobby spent time figuring out what circuit went to what and figured out the problem. He changed the receptacle and also helped to make a light work that we hadn't even called him about! He offered us valuable advice about some other lighting issues in our house. Bobby was great to work with and we will definitely call him again.

The service went extremely well. Bobby is a genuinely nice guy and was very efficient with the work he performed. Electrical work in my opinion is an extremely scary and risky field. Bobby put me at ease and gave me confidence in the work he was doing. Although not a large job, I now know I can rely on Mr. Lindsey down the road.

I have a real estate business, so I have worked with many electrical contractors over the years. I always had problems finding a good electrical contractor for reasonably sized repair jobs. I met Bobby Lindsay when he did some electrical work for All About the Pipes Plumbing related to a new tankless hot water heater that we had installed. I was pleased with Lindsay's work on the hot water heater job; Bobby is a very friendly person and did an excellent job (he realized he could do the required work for the hot water heater electrical install in a less time-intensive manner, and passed the cost savings on to me). So I hired him to do some additional electrical work at our house. -------- For the job related to this report, we gave Bobby the particularly difficult job of trying to determine why our dining room lights flickered when the HVAC cycled on. After some trial and error, he and his brother quickly identified the problem -- a basement dehumidifier is really what was cycling on, and causing the flickering. It could have been like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but instead he was able to efficiently and inexpensively fix this problem for us.

Four ceiling fans were installed, one of which required the repositioning of a recessed light fixture in the master bath to accommodate the space required for the fan. Moving the recessed light to make room for where I wanted the fan positioned would require repairing the ceiling to cover the hole because the fan hardware was smaller than the lighting fixture. This could have become a costly proposition but then Bobby suggested installing a medallion to cover the hole and then positioning the fan over the medallion. They had a white medallion in their truck which would work. I thought it was a great idea and gave them the go ahead. They also fixed an electrical circuit that was tripping and added a receptacle in the master bath. Because my neighbor recommended Lindsay Electrical to me and after spending considerable time with Ted Lindsay during our initial meeting, I felt comfortable leaving them when I had to go on an errand. When I returned, everything was done as promised. Everything was cleaned up and furniture replaced and the doors were locked behind them. Except that I had four new ceiling fans, an alarm system that didn't suddenly go off because of a faulty circuit, and a safe place to plug in my make-up mirror, there was no evidence that anyone had been in my house all afternoon. I hired Lindsay Electrical again in July to install three floor receptacles in my living room and to relocate my television cable. Again, the work was done to my 100% satisfaction. Bob and Ted Lindsay are very conscientious, personable, reliable, trustworthy and have a good old-fashioned work ethic.
