Barrie and his team were wonderful. They installed a 7.1 surround system, programmed a new receiver and hung the television in our upstairs bonus room.
Previously, he had done the surround-sound in our downstairs family room, and modified wiring for our computer system to put all the wiring behind the walls and moved our router above our cabinetry to eliminate clutter.
Prior to us working with him the first time, my husband and I visited Barrie at his home, which is his showroom, essentially - he took us from room to room, allowing us to listen to the different speaker systems and sound quality so we were very educated about our choices (we had never done anything like this before).
Barrie is a fantastic sound engineer and a good person. He thinks things through and is incredibly professional and a perfectionist. He came recommended by our furniture consultant, Ann LaCarter, at Bassett. He had done work for her in her home.
The sound systems are INCREDIBLE.

I have had 4 different so-called experts in wiring up my cabling for TV, DVD, BlueRay, Cable, and Stereo, and nothing ever worked after these people left. With Barrie of Lightspeed Consulting, he not only hooked everything up, but he installed all new top of the line cables some of which have enhanced my TV viewing considerably, but he did it in record time (2 1/2 hours) cables at the back of the TV and cabinet are all neatly tied so I have nothing protruding from any angle. He also showed me how everything worked, and also told me to call him if for any reason I have problems. It is wonderful to finally have someone who knows whagt he is doing hook up all of these components and actually have it all work. Worth every penny and more.
