This company installed 2 solar tubes and 3 solar fans for my attic. The install was ok but slow. Now it's a year later, and I'm having leaking in one of the solar tubes. I called Joe a couple of times, and he did return the call. He scheduled an appointment for Thursday. His installer called and ask if he could come on Friday. I said yes. This is the last time I have had any communications with this company. I have called and called with no response. So I have no idea if they came out or did not show. I guess I will have to see when it rains again, and I have water on my hardwood floors in my kitchen. You really see the quality of a company when you have a problem. "Although the member's statement is true regarding my failure to immediately communicate, there are many other miss-truths stated. We did arrive to inspect the units within two weeks of the initial call, but he was not able to be there. The installer looked at all the units trying to find moisture or standing water as it was reported to us by phone, but was unable to locate any moisture in, or around the units. Further inspection found the units had all been installed correctly and there was no evidence of defects or potential moisture infiltration. This was communicated to him via voice mail and he requested a second visit. The installed di post pone a previously set appointment from Thursday, to Friday, but did arrive and he was not available at that time either. Both visits there was no evidence of moisture or leaks evident. The member is also referring to my competitors products and not the products we installed for him. Maybe that is what he is, or was having issues and not the VELUX products we installed for him. I do also agree with his statement you don't know who your dealing with until you have an issue. However, I have a long list of clients over the 20 years in Charlotte, and yes, some had issues. I can not think of one that would agree with him regarding our responses."

Joe was very helpful by phone and directed me to the Velux headquarters in Fort Mill so I could see what installed skylights would look like. He came out to my home to advise on details of products and placement in the room. Skylights were installed efficiently and neatly.
