Overall, the main issue that came up was that the written estimate did not match the final invoice. When we asked Fred about the changes in pricing he was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
Our remodel process began with Fred Begley coming out to give a written estimate. We replaced our bath fitter shower with a walk-in tiled shower. The tile company he used did quality work. We had the flooring replaced as well as the vanity replaced. Some things were installed incorrectly but were eventually resolved to meet satisfaction. Throughout the process we were fairly satisfied with the product we were given, up until the end. When we were given an invoice, there were a number of charges added to it that were never discussed or brought up to us. One of the many extra charges on the invoice was an additional freight charge. Fred had miscalculated the tile order and needed 2 extra pieces. He took it upon himself to order the 2 extra pieces and had the company overnight them. The overnight shipping charge was added to our invoice. We asked Fred about the charge and asked if he could look into it for us since we didn't know about it. The response we received from him was incredibly rude and disrespectful. We were met with a text message cussing us out stating, "just mail the check I paid the f****** shipping if you're too godd*** cheap to pay it." As paying customers, we should never have been talked to in that manner. We have every right to question an invoice that doesn't match the written estimate given. If it weren't for the lack of maturity and professionalism, our ratings would have been different.

From owner, Fred Begley, to each worker on the project, I received outstanding workmanship, extraordinary professionalism, and timely & cost-efficient completion - on time & under budget!

Fred was recommended by friends who had just completed a kitchen update. Fred's estimate was very competitive with others, but seemed more intent on providing a final result we would LOVE, no just be 'OK' with. He provided lots of ideas and options , but wasn't pushy. He always was available on site during the project and was proactive in giving us updates. He actually kind of made it fun! The finished kitchen was done on time & within our budget. We could not be happier. Our next project will be the master bath. We will be calling no one else but Fred @ Kitchen N Bath Visions!
