They began work on April 20th and did not complete the project until May 23rd. The project completion date was pushed back several times.
After they finally completed the job we sent a cleaning company over to clean. However, the cleaning company informed us that the contractors left our house a mess: paint on the floors, in the sink, running paint, missed spots, and mismatch paint. In addition, they left debris in our yard and trash in our home. When I called the owner he assured us that it was not paint on the floor, but in fact dust. We felt uneasy about this, so we had to travel from Maryland to Charlotte just to access the house. Upon our arrival we discovered that the house was a mess as per our cleaning company and Kennard was not telling us the truth.
We called the company to express our concerns. He said he would have his senior person come over and fix issues. We then had to travel back again to make sure the work was done properly. Upon our arrival there was still paint on the steps and missed spots on the cabinet. To add to it, the sinks they were contracted to refinish (were in fact painted) and looked horrible. This was the most unpleasant experience and I would not recommend or use this company again. We have requested a partial refund and have yet to receive a response.
We were finally able to reach an agreement regarding a partial refund.
