Jose, the owner, is a caring ethical professional and warm human being.  He has made numerous landscape suggestions in the last year and most have worked out very well.  His team cleared a very wild, poison ivy covered berm and adjacent HOA area and also placed high quality mulch in all gardening areas.  He does special projects for us as well e.g. burying the drainage lines away from the house, installing sod, spraying funcicide as needed. Jose is always very responsive to my phone call.

This man scammed my family. This was the most horrible experience we have ever had with a service provider.  He showed up with his crew to do the job.  I literally had to go out there to ask him to trim the bushes because he was all set to leave after just mowing the lawn.  He did not even edge the lawn.  When he was done he and his crfew rang my doorbell and he stated that I shoujld just "go ahead and pay him now".  When I confirmed the price again with him with my checkbook in hand, he smirked and then said, "No, the price is $250" which was $100 more than what he had quoted me.  I am pretty sure I can understand when someone says to me $150 versus $250.  He also stated that he was charging me a separate surcharge for trimming the bushes since it was the "first time".   ??????
With him standing on my porch and me being home alone I paid him what he asked and went inside until he left.  I certainly felt cheated to say the least and uncomfortable in his presence at that point when I knew he was scamming me so I just wanted him to leave.
After he left I went outside to inspect his "work" further and noticed what a sloppy job they did.  If I can figure out how to attach the pictures I will. I then called my husband and told him what happened and he called Jose. Jose agreed to come back the next morning to walk through the job.  Ten minutes later I get a call from Jose stating "Thank you very much! I will not be coming back".  Turns out he had run up to the ban and cashed my check and then tunred around to cancel the appointment.
Our phone calls, emails and letters on the matter have been ignored by Sorto.  I would never do business with this man.

They do tremendous work for me. Great prices, and great service.
