K&S Sanitation services Inc

Kand S Sanitation is a garbage company. Their rates were GREATLY
cheapier than the other garbage company I was with for 2 years. They
pick-up anything you need removed from your house. I greatly like the
friendliness of the person working in the office when I called to change
my service. Thus far I have complaints with this company

The residential community I live in resides in an unincorporated section of Charlotte. That means, we are free find and secure our own trash pickup, as there is no city sponsored pickup. When moving to the area in 2009, we signed up with the sanitation service that everyone else in the neighborhood used. This sanitation service charged $70 a quarter for trash pickup. Last month there seemed to be a fight for territory among the sanitation companies here in our South West section of Charlotte. We received flyers in our mailbox from three other sanitation companies. The flyer that stood out to me was a letter from K and S Sanitation, which offered the same once a week trash and recycling pickup for only $35 a quarter. Needless to say, it was a no brainer for my family to cut our trash bill in half, as long as the service was acceptable.
We have been using K and S Sanitation for a month now without any problems. I've met the drivers and had brief conversations with them. They are very professional, and will help when you have some trash that doesn't quite fit the supplied 95 gallon trash can. I've heard only good things from other neighbors who have switched as well. It feel like we've been overcharged for the past 3 years. It must have been nice for my previous trash company.
On the letter left by K and S, it states that if the rate is changed, K and S Sanitation will give us a full refund and will give us one free year of garbage and recycling services. So I don't feel this is a reduced rate to get me in the door, only to jack up the fee in six months. I think that now that neighborhood has some competition between four providers, the rate should be good for a long time.
