Junk King Charlotte

My appointment window was 12:00pm-2:00pm, a guy called at 1:25pm to inform me that the truck was full and that they needed to empty it. I asked when could they come, I was told 3:00pm. I needed to go back to work and would return by 3:00pm. The guy told me that was OK if I was not there at 3:00pm he would look at the job and call me with a quote if I accepted I could pay by phone. I was back by 3:00pm and no Junk Kings, I called the guy at 3:44pm and ask if they were on their way and was informed they were at another job, he asked how much trash I had and I replied a lot. He told me he did not think that they had enough room on the truck so I told him that it was OK and not to bother and ended the conversation and hung up. I received a text from him stating that there was no need to hang up that he would have helped out price wise for the inconvenience for me to call the call center to cancel and have a blessed day! I replied back that I did not hang up, meaning on him. Then another text from him, that he was still speaking and that I needed to call the call center to cancel. They wasted my day and became argumentative. I did call the call center and explained what had happened, the guy was very nice and apologetic.

The whole experience, from scheduling to completion was simple and handled professionally. Shawn and DJ communicated their ETA and were on time. They explained the process, provided an immediate and fair estimate and completed the work quickly with no issues or surprises. Great experience!

They quoted $518 when they showed up. $418 for the normal debris and another $100 for the concrete blocks that the shed sat on. I requested $375 and they can leave the blocks. Elijah was firm on $418 because the debris had to be carried from my backyard to my front. The guy I had talked to on the phone said that the location of the material wouldn't change the price so I remained firm at $375 and they reluctantly accepted. They completed the job in about an hour and a half. It was a full truck load and they did an excellent job. Highly recommend.

Junk King bailed on me at the last minute saying their truck broke down when I needed this service to get my home ready for sale! Do not use them - totally unreliable!

It went great. It was very easy to make an appointment online. They called about 20 minutes ahead of time to let me know they were on their way. The employees were very professional and went right to work. I would use this service again.

I called Junk-King yesterday, Weds. 12/16 @ 4:20pm - first, I was amazed they could work me in so quickly, especially since they were coming from North Charlotte and I'm in South Charlotte. 2nd - met Junk-King at the property at 9:45 am. Phillip and Shawn were professional, polite, nice, and got the job done quickly on a rainy day. I will definitely use them again. They were the best!

Fast response, had a small miscommunication but they took care of it and performed job as requested.

They were great. Took care of loading and hauling the trash away. Very thorough and even swept up.

Project went great! Owner arrived on time and gave quote and time frame for work to be done. After approval, crew arrived at promised time with truck and they worked very had and quickly to clean out attic and get all items out.

We had a 2-4 time frame for arrival, but they were delayed and got there closer to 6:00. Despite that, they stayed in touch the entire time and informed us of the delays, which we were able to schedule around. Upon arrival, they were very courteous and professional, and were done in less than 15 minutes.

The Salvation Army, or any other local charity, would not remove this TV. I needed to remove the old TV since my new flat screen TV was unexpectantly being delivered on May 25, 2014. I called Junk King (found them in the Yellow Pages) on May 24, 2014, explained my problem, and was immediately scheduled for the next morning, May 25, 2014. Their truck arrived on time, the two men identified themselves, disconnected the TV, and without damaging any of my furniture, loaded it on the handcart . One man took it to the truck while the other man did my credit card payment of $60. Yes, I did think that $60 was a little high but I needed the job done then--and I was never very good at bartering ! A short time later, I received an e mail receipt, and a surrey which I filled out. I would, and did, recommended Junk King to a friend.

We have used Junk King three times and have been pleased with the provided service each time. They are always on time and friendly. They do a great job and always ask me to inspect the space where the junk was to make sure it has been done to my satisfaction.

The service went well. Their promptness stood out to me. I remember when I called they easily scheduled a pickup. It was a big deal purchase. There was no extra charge.

These guys did an excellent job. I contacted them via their website to set up the appointment. I needed removal of some old and broken bedroom furniture that was too far gone to donate as well as some old electronics that needed to go away. They showed up with enough people to make the job go quickly, were very nice and professional, and cleaned up very well after themselves.

They were very nice guys. I had more debris at the house than was allotted. I put the deal on hold and never ended up using it. I agree with the pricing, but I let the deal lapse.

I purchased a new kitchen table online and didn't realize how much of a pain it would be to get rid of the five giant boxes and wooden pallet on which it was delivered. I was really happy to find Junk King, with service and pricing that were exactly what I was looking for! I called over the weekend and was able to schedule an estimate/pickup the following Monday. They came with a truck and their $89 pricing for a small load was reasonable for this size of a load. The men were extremely polite, and they even swept the mess out of my garage when finished. I was very happy with their service and would highly recommend them for this type of service!

Worked very hard in a difficult situation cleaning out a rental house qthat was stluffed to the ceiling with junk. Not a pretty picture but the crew persevered and finished the job on time. They were pleasent to work with and never complained About the tough job.

They removed a lot of stuff. 1700 square feet of particle board and luan. More than 1 truck full. They did an adequate job. I used them because a lot of reviews said they did great cleanup. Here, they did not. I had to leave for an appointment and they were raking the backyard. But they left pieces in the backyard and in another location. They missed on 2x2 piece still laying in the yard. That's why I did not give them an "A". The guys were great to work with and removed all the stuff I asked them to. I guess I expect a lot for $500.

There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. Actually, we didn't think it was as much as they thought. But anyway I guess when you ordered it was for a certain yardage or truckage allotment I guess. Anyway, we actually didn't get very much picked up. Had I known that that was all like to me it seems like it was really over priced even with the coupon. I would say that I didn't think they were very friendly. One of them in particular just acted like he really didn't want to be there. He acted like he didn't really want to work that job. That's really all I would say.
