JOHN WIELAND HOMES & NGHBRHDS

I bought a new home for over $500,000 with the intent of avoiding expensive retailers and problems. I thought John Wieland homes was reputable. But I find that they are the worst. I have had to call city inspectors on this, Hope I do not have to do this again. The following are only a few of the numerous problems with this home that Wieland has not repaired: 1. Electric: washing machine outlets causes breaker to malfunction and that's a fire hazard 2. Flood lights - two in the backyard will not operate. 3. Recess lights by the bookcases in the break room will not operate. 4. The Jacuzzi throws the breaker each time it's turned on. This is dangerous and can cause electrocution. I cannot plug my vacuum cleaner into the outlets in the bedroom. It throws the circuit breaker and that's dangerous. I have to use extension cords and lead it from my living room in order to vacuum my bedroom. 5. Glass in 4 windows have turned colors due to lack of ceiling and they are opaque. Two in the breakroom, one in the garage, one in the upstairs bedroom. 6. Insufficient drainage in the rear yard. Water from the hill and sidewalk directed downhill in my yard and causes a washout. 7. Entrance door on the front damaged strip at the bottom of the door has never been replaced. 8. Sprinkler head in the rear yard of house which I paid extra money for installing is not connected to anything and no water comes out of it for the irrigation system. I am afraid to wash clothes as it may cause my house to burn down.
