John's Lawn and Tree Service

John and his brother Frank and rest of team worked hard for 2 full days. They raked the debris from the beds and put down the mulch. Also put down pine straw in the front yard. All bushes were trimmed and look terrific. Our yards look like a million bucks. They were on time and polite, and cleaned everything up nicely. Price was a good deal and didn’t stray from the estimate.

John and his crew did an excellent job. They were punctual and left the yard neat and clean. John gave me his honest opinion about a stump I was considering grinding down. He said it really wasn't necessary, which saved me some money. He also cut down a small tree for free that wasn't part of the original job. We will definitely hire him again!

I called John around 6 in the evening and he immediately picked up. I texted him a picture of what I needed removed and he gave me a quote and went that evening. He was extremely professional and responsive. I will definitely call him again when needed!

Fantastic - he takes wonderful care of my yard and takes the initiative to do the occasional stuff like mulching a bed or trimming bushes, etc. without being asked. Great work ethic!

John and his brother removed 3 shrubs from the front yard and cut down 2 trees along with grinding down the stumps. They also trimmed a huge tree in the backyard thar desparately needed it as the branches were hanging over my roof. John is professional, friendly and detail oriented. He is also easy to work with. Both him and his brother worked long and hard to get the job finished in one day. I would highly recommend him and I plan having him come back in the Spring to do some work in my yard.

I got John's name through Angie's list. John came over the same day I called to give me an estimate - however, I decided to hire him immediately and he performed the work. John did a great job! He had to climb up in the trees & cut several big branches. Then he cut up the branches and hauled them to the curb for pick up. He blew all the debris away and made everything look nice and clean. Price was very reasonable. I will definitely hire John again.

Top quality dirt was delivered, blended in with existing dirt, graded perfectly. Three trees were removed and stumps ground and brush hauled off. Exceptional work. More than fair price

He did a fantastic job "Shaping" the Hedges giving my property that curb appeal every home owner  likes !!! Once done trimming he collected a debris  & was done in about 2 hours His price was reasonable & I would definitely use John's Lawn Service in the future !!! I would also Highly "Recommend" his service !!!

John was awesome, he actually came out to provide an estimate on easter sunday. Performed agreed work the following week and was finished much faster than I expected. John did everything he said he would do. The area he cleared looked better than I expected after he was finished, we were quite impressed. Will consider for future needs.

I'm going to have him do my lawn this spring and summer.

I thought it was worth it.  He worked 3-4 hours and had someone helping him.  He is very thorough.  He even moved a flower bush and put in a better location.  I was so pleased.  I would use him again and I'm not going to look for anyone else!  I plan to use him again.

It was a great experience. John took care of all that in one day. He took time to explain how to care for the sod and cleaned up. It was a great experience. John is easy to work with and follows through on his commitment. I will certainly use him again in the future.

John and his brother are the "power team."  They put in a full-day's work:  tearing out old shrubbery, evening out the space, installing new weed cloth and adding new mulch.  They installed landscape lighting that I had purchased awhile back.  They, also, trimmed back some of the dead and overgrown tree branches and bushes in our yard.  John's careful attention to detail and his pleasant manner make him a pleasure to do business with.  Would highly recommend him for your lawn and landscape needs.

Everything was great.  John did all the work to my satisfaction... With the tree trimming particularly, he and I talked through all of the work as he did the trimming - he made sure that I was ok with everything he was cutting.  He and his brother worked non-stop until finished.  John has a good eye and high standards for the work he does. He is such a nice and polite guy.  One of neighbors stopped by and asked if he could give her an estimate.  He'll be coming back for aerating, seeding & fertilizing for both of us later.  I look forward to having him handle several projects. 

As far as his work goes, he's fantastic! I couldn't ask for anyone better. I thought we'd be using him forever. As far as communication and responsiveness, he's very lacking. We told him, in the very beginning, that we needed someone who would let us know if they had to cancel and were going to be a no-show. Our agreement was that he would come the first week of the month and he would let me know which day. Unfortunately, I was playing phone solitaire. I could call and leave a message but he just doesn't bother to return calls to us. It became VERY clear that our job just isn't worth it to him. I just wish he would have told me instead of ignoring the calls. He's a very nice man so it's unfortunate that it didn't work out. I know he is very busy but it doesn't hurt to be responsive and keep in touch with the customer. He was scheduled for this month but I never could get him to let us know about the schedule so I found someone else. We tried contacting him for 3 days and I finally reached my limit.
