Description of Work: Jack performed as both our sellers and buyers agent. We chose Jack after reviewing his detailed website and then meeting with him. We had planned to meet other agents, but were impressed enough with Jack's knowledge and obvious capability to go with him immediately. We liked Jack's "Easy Exit" policy so we weren't locked in with him if it wasn't working out. He had a very rational and effective approach that we agreed with (getting pre-inspected, no open houses, use professional photographer, price aggressively in the down market, market to the internet primarily). He only charged us 5% for using him for both sell and buy instead of 6%. He helped us arrange inspection and an affordable handyman to fix items. For our new house purchase, we found Jack very knowledgeable of the history and trends of various South Charlotte neighborhoods, and was familiar with many seller's agents (good ones vs problematic ones) due to his 20+ years experience in CLT realty. He provided us with a web utility for searching through houses on the market and marking our favorites. He was patient with our visits of many houses (over 25, plus 2nd visits on 5-6), and he helped us rule out houses and be our dispassionate advocate. We ended up with a great deal on a much larger house, and are extremely pleased with our new home.
