Concrete Patios, Walks & Steps Installation

The job was done right. it looks good. We had a lot of issues with scheduling due to winter weather. Here is my concerns. Service after the JOB! He asked me to pull up the forms for him. OK. It has been two weeks and he has not come by to pick up the wood. I asked several times for a receipt. I got a pushback and still after insisting I never got one. There is a small flaw in the edge I noticed. He said it is normal but promised to come out and fix it. I am still waiting. He claims my phone does not work. Only for him apparently. Good luck with this guy!

As the lead for our community HOA we hired JT to dig out asphalt and install 4 bollards / barriers set in concrete. The company and its worker showed on time, took the time to understand the project and or goals. Communication was nothing short of exceptional. The completed project was solid, straight, plumb, and level. I will be hiring JT for additional concrete work and highly recommend you do as well. Itâ s nice to know there are good people out there! .

Retaining Wall Installation
He totally did not understand the value of the job and what it actually would take He was sloppy, left area undone, incomplete work, He is the definition of experience is key. Lack of experience showed up to the job and mediocre stayed with him and don?t know what the heck I am doing left it unfinished

My experience with this contractor was not good. He suggested something diffe me out of what I wanted and offered something different. He showed me pictures of the brick border and tree ring. We walked around the areas I wanted the brick border done, and he said he could do the work. He quoted a price, and I told him it was a little higher than what was expected, but if he could do the work as in the pictures he showed me it would be ok but put all that in the contract and send the contract. He started working on the project, and I was excited about it. I still had not gotten the contract, and he said he was going to have his wife resend it. He started the work, and I had to stop him and have him redo or restart the project because it was not what he said he could do and definitely did not look like the pictures. He never worked on the project a full day or more than a few hours. He had all kinds of excuses as to why he would not be present to work. A couple of days, he said it was going to rain, and the other reason was he had to work on other projects. I told him that my project should have not taken more than 2 or 3 days maximum to complete. He eventually had a team he hired to do the work because he asked me if I could pay him up front to pay his team. I told him he told me no money up front. I just had to pay for the bricks, and he would take care of the sand and mortar. Again, I explained to him why the contract was important. I gave him the money up front so i could get my yard finish. I know i should not have, but i now felt i was in a bind. Even though he hired a team and they started the work, I explained to him again what I wanted, and the mortar needed to be the same color. I had to leave, but when I returned, I was not satisfied because he used different color mortar on the bricks. So I had clay orange mortar in some places and gray cement in other places. The tree rings were not how he said they would be. His reason was that because of my roots, he had to do them differently. I asked him why he didn't talk to me if he had this concern before starting the project or mention that when he said he could do the project. Also, he did the same thing around my air-conditioned units. The border was not what we discussed. He again gave me a reason why he had to do it the way he did. Again, I asked him why he did not ask or discuss with me before changing and doing the work. We had many disagreements, and he kept telling me that he thought it looked good, and my neighbors thought it looked good. I told him it didn't matter what he or my neighbors thought. I was the customer, and I wanted what he showed and told me the project would look like. He constantly kept changing things and telling me what he thought was best before discussing with me the changes. When the work was completed, I was so disappointed and called him and told him the work looked as if I decided to get out and do the work. It was sloppy and mortar all over the place. He told me his team did what they were supposed to do. I sent him pictures and was really upset. He said to me that there was no contract. I was so upset with myself for not insisting I had the contract before I let him start the work. He eventually said he would meet me the next day with someone he knows who has been in the business for 17 years. The next only he showed up but agreed that the work was a mess. He did say he saw only pictures that his team sent him. He was not there to see the work himself. So he agreed to fix the work. It took him another day before he even started the work. He had a different team working on my project. Even though the team did make the tree rings look better but it still was not good. The bricks had been sawed a part and reused. He did work a whole day trying to fix the issues, but he basically did a lot of patch work. I have much more to say but have run out of space. Definitely get...
