I called Ivey after reading reviews on Angie's List on a Monday, and Stephanie thoroughly explained the two services I was interested in (pest control and termite inspection) to make sure that I was booking the service that I really needed. She set up an appointment for just two days later. Mike from Ivey Exterminating was FANTASTIC! He was on time to the minute and friendly but professional. I had forgotten to tell Stephanie that we had several cats and a blind dog; Mike was incredibly accommodating and explained what chemicals he was using and that they were absolutely non-toxic to humans and pets after they dry in just minutes. He was also very careful to apply the chemicals where needed but mindful of where the pets might be both indoors and outdoors (he has a houseful of pets too). I appreciated his knowledge and tips of bug behavior (especially cockroaches and silverfish) as well as his explanations of what I should expect not only within the next few days (it will look like I have more bugs as they encounter the chemicals and die where I can find them), but over the next season. I can say with certainty that I never expected to look forward to seeing dead bugs popping up in my house, but I absolutely am now! With the termite inspection, he was careful to look for not only termite activity but also other wood-boring insects (like powder post beetles). He explained the habits of each type and what they prefer (I never knew powder post beetles prefer very dry wood in older homes like my own 100+ year old house) and the signs to look for to indicate active colonies. Luckily nothing active under my home! He also noted that there were signs of previous infestations in the past, but that all evidence pointed to thorough treatment and repair as should be done. I will definitely be using Ivey Exterminating in the spring/ summer if we need flea or cave cricket control in our shed and for future annual termite inspections. They went down in there and put plastic in it and sealed it up tight. They also put in a dehumidifier in it so my moisture readings can go down. They've done a very good job.

It was fine. It was by appointment that we had set up. They arrived as scheduled. They did the work as per agreement. Things seemed to go well. As far as we know, everything is okay. It was a two men crew. It was a typical sort of interaction. They were efficient. There was not too much interaction to be had really. I am a retired architect. They have been in a lot of my commercial sites for years. They have been in business for decades.

Ivey was prompt punctual and set a great expectation of what was going to be done and when . They did a great job and I would recommend them highly.

They have done things for us and they've always been great. The techs are very nice and I always feel fine when they're there and I trust them. As far as I know, price is A because I know I'd hear it if my husband is not happy.

They do a really really good job. I have several places that have standing water and I have not had any problems since they started spraying. They use stuff that is non-harmful to pets and they always close my gates.

Inspector arrived on time and inspected our crawl space. He found no evidence of problems, but did make some recommendations. I would use them again.

It is a good service. I like that they send someone out if you have any problems at no additional charge.

They are very dependable and whenever we have any kind of problem they come over and take care of it. Their service is quick and thorough. They do a good job and the results are good. Their service people are very nice folks and their price seems fair enough since we haven't priced anybody else.

I was absolutely happy with them. They solved the problem that another famous pest control company could not solve in 10 years. I don't see those roaches anymore. They somehow were able to get the problem solved while the other company kept making excuses. They're good with price. They're always punctual. I will use them again in the future.
