LONG DELAYS: SOFA/REUPHOLSTERY ORDERS AND WINDOW VALANCE REDONE DUE TO VERY POOR PATTERN MATCH/INCORRECT SIZE OF SOFA, POOR WORKMANSHIP; DEFECTIVE PIECES DELIVERED DESPITE WADE''S INSPECTION (E.G., SHE CLAIMED NOT TO KNOW THAT SOFA PATTERN SHOULD MATCH). GROSS UNDERESTIMATE OF SOFA FABRIC ($93 VS. $67) RESULTED IN SIGNIFICANT COST OVERRUN (COMMITTED TO CUSTOM PAINT COLORS KEYED TO SOFA FABRIC BEFORE LEARNING OF UNDERESTIMATE). NEVER PROVIDED NAMES, ADDRESSES, INVOICES FOR MATERIALS AND LABOR FROM SUBCONTRACTORS; NO FORMAL ESTIMATES; UNPROFESSIONAL INVOICES. AFTER WORKING WITH MS. WADE, I REALIZED THAT I KNEW MORE ABOUT DECORATING CONCEPTS THAN SHE DOES (E.G., FORMULATING A HOUSE COLOR SCHEME; USING COMPLEMENTING COLORS FROM ROOM TO ROOM) AND THAT I WOULD HAVE RECEIVED BETTER VALUE (COMPARABLE QUALITY, BETTER PRICE) BY PURCHASING FURNITURE FROM A REPUTABLE RETAIL STORE.
