Work was done as estimated. Price changed from ON SITE estimate of 4159$ to bill of 6152$. Unconscionable change !!!! Horrible business practice. Would not recommend them to waterproof a chicken coop.

In August of 2008, Imer Rosales, owner of I & R Waterproofing, oversaw the installation of a full drainage system and waterproofing of my home at 800 Thera Dr. He dug up the area along the basement, waterproofed the walls and used a 6" strip drain system and gutter extensions at a cost of $960. The drainage system was under warranty for one year. The system failed in July of 2012 and water again penetrated past the foundation walls and pooled up in the basement area as before.
He came out to inspect the property and stated that the basement was flooding again due to a misalignment in my gutters. He stated that if I got the gutters realigned, that would resolve the water penetration problem. I paid to have the gutters realigned, and called Imer the next time our basement flooded, but I have not been able to get him to come back out again to determine why I am continuing to have problems with the drainage system he installed. With all the rain we've had this year, my basement is flooding on a regular basis now. Imer refuses to come back out and see why the system he installed is no longer working.
I understand that the one year warranty is up, however, a full system waterproofing should last more than four years. As a good business practice, he should be interested in determining why the system he installed keeps failing. And other waterproofing contractors have stated that since they did not put in the system, it would cost at least as much as I paid for them to dig up his work and see if they can figure out why it's no longer working. I would not recommend this company because they will make excuses if your drainage system fails, and hide behind their warranty if you have any problems with their system after the warranty period is up. There may be a way to figure out what has caused their system to fail, but until this contractor revises his business practices to follow up on problems that occur with the systems he installs, I would recommend hiring a more reputable company for work like this because this kind of project is very expensive, especially if the contractor doesn't stand behind his work if you have the same problem in the future.
