It wasn't that great experience. Quality was good but it took them a long time to come and have the carpet installed. The carpet came out good and they did a good job putting it down. The price was good.

The unit was a bit pricey but needed to heat a sunroom to use year round. Installation was quick and works great! Unit can be programmed - so we have it turn on an hour before we get up in the morning (like to have coffee out there). Turns off at 9:00 p.m. Do not know yet what the cost to run the unit will be. This unit can also be used for a/c. Very pleased with installation just not happy with the price but this seemed the best unit for what we wanted.

I didn't know this but Home Depot's window services are separate from their retail store. A salesman comes to your house and Home Depot has to install them in order for their guarantee to be effective. The windows were very nice. We chose these windows because these were the nicest looking of all of the vinyl windows that we have looked at. They are called Vantagepointe 6500 series. My husband really liked the way they looked because they looked the most finished. We happened to like these better than any of the windows we have seen. They are probably the highest quality. The windows, when they came were not exactly the ones we have ordered. A little insulating piece that goes within the glass panes were incorrect. They are reordering the correct windows and they have assured me that these new windows, when they come in will just drop right into place. I am hopeful that this is going turn out well. The price was a little more that what we wanted to pay but it was the window we wanted.

They go out of their way to help. I just love the salesman, he answers all of my questions and is very nice. I've never had a salesman who has not been pushy and or high pressure. He took a lot of time with all of my questions, he is very thorough. In front of my house, I have very tall, mature Foxwoods and I was concerned about them being cut back and they are going to work around that. They really went out of their way to look at the Foxwoods to make sure they could work around them without harming them. They are planning on putting the windows in next week, weather permitting.

Overall, couldn't ask for better quality. I read all A and B Angie's List reports on roofing and realized if an installer were cutting corners, I did not know enough about that. I also learned what price would be reasonable. I wanted someone who would be self supervising, and would not leave with a check before the job was completed. They are excellent for people in those categories! They also gave me a break in that 17' of gutter is below their usual minimum, but it could be done in conjunction with the shingles job. The gutter installer was excellent as was the shingles installer. For the roofing, the mess was minimal. Both took excellent care of the property. It is very reassuring that Home Depot requires their contractors to be background checked to not be felons or illegal immigrants. Home Depot also gives you a 12 year warranty on the installation and you also get a 25 year warranty, transferable to a second owner on the materials.
