Found problem quickly and showed me how to avoid it in the future.

I was very pleased. I liked them. They did a good job. They were nice and I had no complaints. A neighbor gave me their name. I thought the price was fair but I didn't compare it.

They came the same day I called and got the job done. I have used them extensively and will never call anyone else!

Hill Electric does a fantastic job. They are courteous on the phone, prompt on their visits, and meticulous in their installation. They installed several new ceiling spotlights for us. This took lots of pulling wire to new locations but they do not ever complain. They are very polite and conscientous. We had an issue with one light they installed and it was not clear whether the problem was with the light we supplied or their installation so they agreed to compromise with us on the price to fix the problem, which was a great solution to me. They are careful not to damage anything in the house and they clean up everything after themselves. They worked around other contractors. One day they were working with a house full of other contractors and the Hill Electric technicians were very cooperative. Every other contractor was complaining about other people being in their way but Hill Electric just worked around the others. These guys know their stuff. I would trust them with any electrical issue. They were one of the few contractors who I actually enjoyed having in my house. I have no reservations about recommending them.

I had a large branch knock down my power line in my back yard and it yanked the riser from the back of my house and damaged the meter box. When the power company came out to cut the line so the electricians could work, he was positive the whole meter box would have to be replaced, which would be quite a chunk of change. The 2 guys from Hill Electric arrived a few hours later, and after looking at the meter box, decided that there was nothing wrong with the box except that the top was badly bent because the riser didn't just break off as it should have. They told me they could possibly save me some money if they could take the bent top back to their shop and try to get it "back in shape". After about another 45 min to an hour, they came back and I couldn't believe how well they had fixed it. After they put it back on, and secured it with screws, it looks like nothing has ever happened to it. Not only did I think they did a great job, they also saved me money and guaranteed themselves that if I need any electrical work in the future, I will be calling them. Also, the two gentlemen who did the work were very friendly and let me know exactly what they were doing and why. We need more service like this.

THESE GUYS ARE GREAT AND CAN DO ANYTHING! THEY WERE VERY RESOURCEFUL IN DIFFICULT SITUATIONS, WERE RESPECTFUL OF MY PROPERTY, AND DID A GREAT JOB. WHEN OTHERS SAID IT COULD NOT BE DONE, HILL DID IT.

THEY GAVE AN ESTIMATE FOR AROUND $700 AND AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETE THEY BILLED ME $1350. THEY SENT OUT A GUY WHO HAD ONLY BEEN WORKING FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND HE REALLY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING. THEY SPENT HOURS AND HOURS SITTING AROUND THE HOUSE AND DRINKING COFFEE... WE ENDED UP IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT DISPUTING THE HOURS I WAS BILLED FOR. THE WORK WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY AND I HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER ELECTRICIAN TO DO IT RIGHT. THESE GUYS WAY OVER CHARGED ME BECAUSE THEY BILLED ME FOR DRIVING TIME, LUNCH, TRIPS TO THE SUPPLY HOUSE FOR VERY BASIC MATERIALS, AND THEY WERE BILLING ME FOR 8 HOURS A DAY WHEN THEY WERE AT MY HOUSE FOR 2 OR 3. I WOULD NEVER EVEN CONSIDER USING THEM AGAIN. IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD, AND I'VE USED A LOT OF CONTRACTORS.
