Ive been going to Dr Christina Seaborg for about 5 years now. I had been to 2 other audiologists at 2 other (very well known) ENTs offices in Concord & then in Charlotte area. I had been frustrated because I could not hear well out of my one ear that had a sudden hearing loss with the hearing aid I bought from them. I was going multiple times & they would say that it was as good as it could get. Their "good" was not good to me since I still had to ask people to repeat things to me. It was affecting my everyday life & my job as a nurse. A fellow nurse told me about Christina & how happy she was with her hearing aids. She is about a 50 min drive for me but she is worth it. She ordered me a higher quality hearing aid which was totally better. Any time I need to have it adjusted or just for an annual check, she is a pleasure to see & always addresses all my concerns. She basically changed my everyday life.

Dr. Seaborg is extremely professional and patient. She explains the process and results. There was no pressure to hearing aids. She considered my lifestyle (job, time outside) in deciding what would work best. The day I went to pick up my hearing aids, she decided a different brand would be better suited. The next day these were available. She continues to provide lots of support even after the fitting. Can't imagine an audiologist being more helpful. Completely pleasant experience.

I never felt rushed in the numerous visits I had.  Dr. Seaborg listened to my habits and concerns and created program to deal with my concerns.  We had picked out some devices and I went to be fitted and after more conversations, she decided that another brand (Oticon) would be a better match for me.  I appreciated her honesty and she knew the different companies and the advantages of some brands over the others.  We had several follow-up visits where she adjusted the devices to fit my needs and enhance my hearing. I have left this experience loving my hearing devices, I was able to easily adjust to the new sounds and become comfortable with the entire process.  Each week she would activate a new feature which was great because I didn't become overwhelmed with so many of the features.  There is no high pressure sell tactics here.  I never felt pressured or rushed. She provided me with everything I needed to get started (box of batteries, cleaning tools and an UV hearing aid dryer).  I left with everything I needed and was taught what to do.  She encouraged me to call if I had concerns.  She did make a change one week at my request.  Well after two days I went back to have my changes undo.  She knows what she is doing and is personable and sweet lady that takes the time to provide a great service.  I can't imagine you will find a better experience.

For years I have been told that my hearing was impaired.  Wife and family complained that I played the TV and stereo too loud.  Upon the recommendation of a friend I trust I made an appointment to see Christina Seaborg at the Hearing and Balance Center.  I'm glad I made that decision.  Christina did a very thorough hearing examination and discussed the results with me.  I definitely have a hearing loss, more severe than I thought.  One of the reasons I chose Hearing and Balance Center was because they sold the very best brands in the industry.  Christina recommended an Oticon solution that works great with my life style.  She, and her entire staff, are very professional, efficient and a delight to work with.  They always make me feel as if I am their only customer.  I highly recommend Christina and her team at Hearing and Balance Center. 

I was impressed with how thorough Christina's exam was. Along with the use of state of the art equipment, Christina unobtrusively listened to what I was saying. For instance she listened to what I liked to do and what I felt I was missing out on by not being able to hear clearly. I felt this was an important part of the exam. She is a very warm person and easy to talk to.

Due to an issue I am presently having, I am unable to get hearing aids at the present time. Christina was generous enough to let me try a demo pair similar to the pair I would need. This was truly wonderful because I had no idea what hearing aids were able to do.

I feel with Christina you are not just a number, she really cares about you.

Christina Seaborg, AUD, was prompt and extremely courteous. She was not at all rushed and took time to listen to my concerns. She did thorough testing and has been working with me to make sure I am satisfied; happy with my hearing aids.

I was really pleased with everything - the ease of getting an appointment, the way that the doctor took care of the problem (which was fairly easy!) and the fact that she also did a few diagnostic tests even after the hearing issue was resolved.  I also appreciated that, upon discovering some general hearing loss, she didn't push hearing aids on me, but instead offered advice so that when and if I do decide to use them in the future, I am well prepared.

The quality of service by this provider was fine. She helped me get hearing aids and I had no issues with the service except the billing and admin department. I brought all the information from my company to show this is what will be paid towards the aids. I did this so I had an idea of what the amount of balance I was responsible for. I originally visited her in Feb '13 for services and in March '13 they submitted insurance claims. I then had a follow up in April '13 and was advised then that she was resubmitted the claim to insurance. I never received any information from the Dr. based on what was disallowed under them. Then in May '14 I received a surprise bill for $1,995 that I was to pay for from my services. I never received any invoices or phones calls to communicate with me that there was still an outstanding balance from from my April 2013 visit. I am very disappointing at the service because I expected better communication. If there was a problem, I just needed to know and given the opportunity to talk to my company/insurance. I now do not work for that company anymore after retiring. My problem is, why are we at this point, this could have been handled earlier.....

During my appointment at the Hearing and Balance Center, Dr. Seaborg performed a hearing test. She was very thorough and professional. A great deal of time was spent explaining the test results and all my questions were answered. Various hearing devices were explained and the best options for me were discussed.
Dr. Seaborg worked with me to find the hearing devices that worked the best for my hearing loss and were the most comfortable for me to wear. I received my hearing aids at a following appointment and they were programmed to suit my needs. Further adjustments were made at the next appointment, after wearing them for a week.
Dr. Seaborg is intelligent, caring and professional. When the whole experience was completed, I wondered why I had waited so long to go! She has helped to greatly improve my quality of life.

I visited Christina 10+ times between October 2013 and March 2014. She tested my hearing, helped me to try 5 different hearing aids, fitted all of them. She even refitted my old hearing aids. Christina is my third audiologist I have used in Charlotte, and she is, by far, the best – extremely knowledgeable, professional, flexible with appointments (I have a busy schedule and she allowed on occasions to come at weird hours), and very friendly. She never pushed to purchase of any of the hearing aids. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Seaborg tested my hearing, suggested appropriate hearing aids, ordered them, fitted them when they arrived, tested my hearing with the new aids, explained how they worked. She was very professional and quite good at explaining how the aids worked. I have seen her for several follow-up visits and have appreciated her competence and manner of dealing with a client. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Seaborg is very knowledgeable about hearing aids and has been very helpful with both the selection and the adjustments needed to inhance the capabilties of the hearing aid. I am very satisfied with the services I have been provided.

Everything went extremely well. No complaints. I felt Christina was extremely knowledgeable and offered a lot of great advise. I also really appreciate the fact that she steered me to some lower cost hearing aids based on her experience. This was unlike some others that had advised me to go with much more expensive models. I highly recommend Christina for anyone needing hearing aids.

I have hearing loss because, of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. She tested, adjusted, tested and send me out to try. Follow up got me back for test and provided me with service to learn and listen, more than hearing. Will use them again and again.

She's goes out of her way to help you. I recommend her. Reasonable prices. Service is great.

Dr. Seaborg is very caring and knows what she is doing. I will give her an "A" on everything.
