From the onset, Blair stood out as the most experienced and most trusted for the job - I talked to five people, and I can't imagine any scenario where I would not have selected Blair. He prepared an estimate - complete with drawings - on the spot, he had recommendations for other areas of work, and he was easy to communicate with and understand his schedule. On the day he selected to start the project, the team showed up and worked quickly; I was out of town but had no issues or concerns, and when I returned home his team took great measures to ensure the yard was cleaned up.
Over time the drainage issues had truly become worrisome, and Green Frog did an outstanding job. I would use them again without hesitation, and recommend them to anyone else who has similar issues and is looking for an honest and trustworthy team for a solution.
I researched the internet before contacting Green Frog and read about full encapsulation as a solution. We suggested this to Andrew who said it was a better route to go than the inexpensive method he first gave us as an estimate. So we gave the go ahead to replace insulation as needed. Andrew gave us another estimate which was higher, but involved more work and the purchase of a dehumidifier.
The crew (Neal, Ernesto and Kyle) came within a week to work on the project. Andrew some days also worked in the crawl space along with the crew.
They did find that alot of insulation needed to be replaced and that the floor joists were not supported by the block pillars. Andrew suggested they insert metal shims. We agreed especially after he showed us a photo of the space between the joists and pillars.
Green Frog arranged for an electrician to come and run a dedicated wire from the electrical box to the dehumidifier-----included in price.
Andrew and his crew were very informative, professional and hard working. We would definitely recommend Green Frog Waterproofing.
I cannot thank Greenfrog enough for the work they have done and the enjoyment my family will receive from our new dry back yard. I am happy to say that I will be using them in the very near future to continue repairing issues that the wet yard and terrible soil have caused under my house as well. One step at a time I guess. But the piece of mind that my kids and animals are safe in their own yard and not covered in mud constantly is worth it's weight in gold.
The work was completed over 2-3 days, due to rain. The workers were very clean and cleaned up very well after the job was complete. Afterwards, Green Frog called me to be sure that I was happy with the work and asked if there was anything else that I needed. I felt very secure that they did the best work they could.
A couple months later that work was put to the test. My neighbor (townhouse) had a pipe burst. My unit could have been flooded if not for the work the Green Frog did. I could hear the water running through the new drainage system and could see it coming out of the release drain they put in. I was so thankful that they system was working and I didn't have to worry about a big clean up of water damage.
I would HIGHLY recommend their services! Everyone on the team that I worked with was friendly and professional. Thank you again Green Frog!

1. Blair and Andrew answered many of the questions before starting the work. They wanted to be sure we were comfortable with the work performed. in fact, i called Blair last week with a question (three months after the work) and he was kind to answer the question.
2. the materials....in looking at the materials in estimates from both companies, Greenfrog had the better materials...
3. the service... the guys were here for nearly a week but were very respectful of storing the materials and making sure the yard was free from trash. they did not start too early (having people bang around in the crawlspace would not be well received at 7am!)
4. In a nutshell, Greenfrog treated the job as they would have done it for their house.!!
The crew arrived on a weekday morning but I wasn't given an exact time but luckily I work from home so I'm flexible. The crew leader came to the door and explained they would get to work. I inquired as to whether he would be sealing the vents in the house (it was on the estimate) but he seemed confused and said it wasn't necessary. However, after a phone call with the office, it was determined that it was necessary. Another worker came in to seal the events but also mentioned that a window would need to be opened to bring in an air tube. I asked for him to give me a few minutes before opening the window so I could put my cats in a safe place (otherwise they might have escaped) and he responded "That's okay, I'll guard the window". To me this was very unprofessional and I was not about to risk my cats getting out so I ran around my house frantically to get them in a safe place (all while I should have been at my desk working). If I had been notified earlier that this was going to be the process, I could have had this taken care of.
There were a few other hangups such as having to come back a 2nd time to remove mold that was overlooked (the employee they sent out didn't seem very knowledgeable and had to call the office for my questions). At this point, I'm not sure if all the mold was removed effectively. This employee also brought along an "air scrubber" which I truly believe should have been in my house and running during the actual mold remediation instead of during this removal which took the employee all of 5-10 minutes. My house smelled like dirt for almost 2-3 weeks afterwards and upon research, this can sometimes be the sign of mold and as of today, almost two months later I still smell occasional dirt smells.
Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. $3,200 is a lot of money to me and I felt like the project didn't go smoothly and I'm not confident with the work that was done. They were kind enough to give me a $125 break for the frustration but I'm more worried about quality of the work that was done and I can only hope I won't have to have mold remediated again any time soon. I wish I had gone with one of their competitors.
I could tell that Blair and his counterpart (can't remember his name) cared about customer satisfaction but a lot of what went wrong could have been easy overcome with being more communicative (both we me and workers) to ensure everything went correctly.
