Can't say enough good things about this company (twice!). My driveway was flooding badly whenever it rained, and I found four companies to bid on a drainage solution. Green Frog was one of the last two companies scheduled to quote, and Andrew showed up with his iPad. He listened to me, inspected my driveway, then carefully inspected the crawlspace of my house, my backyard drainage angles, and photographs I provided of an aerial view. He was there an hour at least, and I was beginning to think he was a bit obsessive about the quote. But he came in and sat with me, showed me diagrams of his proposal, a detailed quote, and a thorough knowledge of the issues. It was amazing. No other contractor had done anything like it, giving me quick oral estimates that in some instances seemed bizarre. I chose Green Frog, and their technicians showed up (on schedule in two weeks time) , worked incredibly long hours, and did a really spectacular job on the installation. It was all fantastic. I can't say enough about the old-school attitude of honest work and integrity that Green Frog embodies. Follow-up: Almost six months after initial installation, the drainage system has held up well, with only one incident of flooding following an absolute torrential downpour. But Blair and his team still came out, inspected the progress, and decided they could improve the surface rocks and drainage with further work. They did it for free, and it was a major upgrade. A team of two hard-working professionals labored half the day to quadruple the rock shield, clear and restore one installed drain, and enhance the system's capacity for rapid water drainage. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.

Do not use this company! I hired them to waterproof a corner of my home, deal with some drainage issues, and install some pavers and steps. The steps are loose and a hazard, the pavers have sunken, and worst of all we just became aware that they left a pipe that was draining one of our gutters buried underground soil and rocks and not going anywhere. They had failed to connect it and the water has just been running underground. My contractor met with the owner of the company, Blair, who told him that they would reimburse us $1400.00 of the $10,000.00 we spent on the work, so that we could make the necessary repairs. Blair then called my contractor back the next day and refused to reimburse us for repairing the steps and correcting HIS company's mistake on our drainage work and the shabby work on the steps because the work was done in 2013. It has not even been 4 years! Again, DO NOT use this company. You will have no idea what mistakes lie beneath!!

It was wonderful working with Andrew Schwartz and Green Frog Waterproofing. The initial consultation was very informative and concise. Andrew was very professional, knowledgeable and always on time. The work was completed in the allotted time and my drainage problems are no longer a concern. Andrew also returned to my residence after a heavy rain to make sure system was working properly. I would highly recommend Green Frog Waterproofing.

Was an extensive job. The crew was very professional, friendly and extremely hard working. The resulting crawlspace was immaculate.... dry , clean and was even fully vacuumed at the end of the installation. The temperature and humidity has dropped considerably and we have an inside monitor to which allows us to keep tabs on the result. The quoting process involved several options and was all explained carefully and patiently by Blair. We had interviewed and received quotations from four different contractors before proceeding and Green Frog was by far the most knowledgeable and comprehensive. Highly recommend,

Andy and his crew put in a French drain with beautiful river Rock lining the fence all the way down to make it uniform. The next day we had a terrible thunderstorm and one small area still had some runoff. We left a message for Andy (his crew was already coming back the next day to finish cleaning out our drains in the front yard). Not only did Andy listen to our message but had already formulated a plan to address the additional runoff. And, sent the materials along w the guys. I was SO impressed! He didn't drag out the job or try to charge more $. The drain works perfectly! And cleaning out the storm drains in the front area turned out to be a bigger job than any of us initially thought. He could have charged us more just for that piece. Bottom line is these guys know what they are doing, very professional and are good honest people. I've never seen a crew work so hard (and in the Charlotte NC heat-humidity in July). We've already asked Andy to give us an estimate on some additional work. My husband and I are thrilled that we found Green Frog Waterproofing and highly recommend them.

Green Frog Waterproofing (GFW), lead by Blair Burke, installed french drains and re-graded our very soggy/muddy backyard. Prior to meeting with Blair Burke we had french drains installed by two other companies without success. Our dog rarely was able to come into the house without a long paw cleaning process each time she was let outside. For the last 5 years we have NOT enjoyed our backyard. NOW, that the GFW job has been completed, we have a beautiful backyard without drainage issues. The re-grading and building of a gorgeous retaining wall after the french drains were properly installed and all of the gutters were re-routed makes our backyard extremely appealing and functional!!!! We have nothing but praise and respect for the knowledge and professionalism displayed by all members of the GFW staff.

It was outstanding.  The finished product is twice the work I expected.  Blair and his team quickly and cleanly attached three gutter spouts (underground) to the storm drain, and installed an additional catch basin as well.  It looked as if the problem had been fixed - and the work done - years ago.  There was nothing out of place, no mess, no disruption.  What surprised me, though, was the work I had not anticipated.  Blair used extra dirt and mulch to prepare beds at the side of the house, complete with a rock border.  Furthermore, the back of the house used to be dirt and moss and weeds; after burying the new direct line to the storm sewer, Blair covered the entire area with pebbles and it looks amazing and, coincidentally, allows much easier access to the area.  The yard looks so great now that I'd like to do some plantings, and my only wish is that Blair were also a landscape artist and could handle the design.
From the onset, Blair stood out as the most experienced and most trusted for the job - I talked to five people, and I can't imagine any scenario where I would not have selected Blair.  He prepared an estimate - complete with drawings - on the spot, he had recommendations for other areas of work, and he was easy to communicate with and understand his schedule.  On the day he selected to start the project, the team showed up and worked quickly; I was out of town but had no issues or concerns, and when I returned home his team took great measures to ensure the yard was cleaned up.
Over time the drainage issues had truly become worrisome, and Green Frog did an outstanding job.  I would use them again without hesitation, and recommend them to anyone else who has similar issues and is looking for an honest and trustworthy team for a solution.

Green Frog is the absolute BEST! It took them about a week to complete the job, working every day, but the job was done right!  These guys are professionals from the estimate to the finished product.  I originally thought I wanted just a "vapor barrier", but what I NEEDED, was my crawlspace to be totally encapsulated.  It cost me a little bit more, but it is well worth it.  In addition to the 15 ml thick, reinforced nylon vapor barrier on the entire surface of my crawlspace, they put insulation all the way up the walls; taped, caulked and sealed the entire perimeter of the crawlspace.  Because of the moisture problem I had prior to their repair, I had mold growing on my floor joist.  They also enstalled a French drain system complete with sump pump to take all of the moisture out of my crawlspace.  Now I will never have to worry about the moisture again!  They also installed a dehumidifier to help control and monitor the moisture under the crawlspace.  It's so clean under there now, you could have a picnic!  I would strongly recommend this company to anyone needing this kind of service!  Green Frog are GOOD People!!

Awesome, everything was completed in a timely matter and installed correctly. My yard doesnt flood out anymore and stays dry. They city didnt mark all the utilizes properly and some power lines were cut that ran to my shed. They repaired it properly the same day and still came in under quoted amount. Couldnt be happier, Andrew and his team were outstanding. Thanks green frog!

Andrew Schwartz was very helpful.  He started out with the lowest estimate after looking over crawl space and taking photos with his phone.  We were shown hanging insulation and humidity reading of 84%.   This is the same information we were given  a year ago by our house inspector before we purchased the ranch style house.   So we knew we had to do something, but were unsure what.
I researched the  internet before contacting Green Frog and read about full encapsulation as a solution.   We suggested this to Andrew who said it was a better route to go than the inexpensive method he first gave us as an estimate.   So we gave the go ahead to replace insulation as needed.  Andrew gave us another estimate which was higher, but involved more work and the purchase of a dehumidifier.
The crew (Neal, Ernesto and Kyle) came within a week to work on the project.  Andrew some days also worked in the crawl space along with the crew.
They did find that alot of insulation needed to be replaced and that the floor joists were not supported by the block pillars.  Andrew suggested they insert metal shims.  We agreed especially after he showed us a photo of the space between the joists and pillars.
Green Frog arranged for an electrician to come and run a dedicated wire from the electrical box to the dehumidifier-----included in price.
Andrew and his crew were very informative, professional and hard working.   We would definitely recommend Green Frog Waterproofing.

He did it in a day. He didn't quit until it was perfect. He came back to check on it and thought one part didn't look good so he redid it. I love the attention to detail. It's holding water beautifully.

Greenfrog waterproofing has given my family the back yard that we have never had. We have had drainage issues with our yard for over a decade. It made half our property completely useless. Combined with our septic system, the water issues kept the yard constantly soppy, and unsafe to use. You couldn't walk anywhere in the yard with out sinking, at times, up to your ankles. And that wasn't even over the septic line. After talking with the folks at Greenfrog, we determined that a large french drain and retention pond would be the best solution to handle all the excess water that my yard was holding mostly due to the bull tallow type soil. So, a small excavator was used to dig the trench from the upper part of our back yard to the back most corner of our property. A catch basin is used in the upper portion and then 3 pipes run from there, through the trench, to the far end at the "pond" area. Our gutters were ran to attach to the catch basin as well. Fabric was laid in the trench, followed by a small layer of gravel, then the 3 corrugated pipes covered in 14 tons of gravel and then topped off with soil. With in two days of the initial dig, the yard began to show signs of drying out. Places that we sank into the day of the dig, were already firm enough to walk on. With in a week off the dig parts of the yard that aren't yet covered in grass actually began to have surface cracks due to how dry it had become. I never thought I'd ever be so happy to see cracks on the ground. It has been over a month now and even after a few very heavy rain storms, I am very happy to report that the drainage trench is doing it's job more than ever expected. This summer I am beginning the process of starting from scratch with a new yard that my family can finally use. We never gave it any attention because no one wanted to go back there and it was constantly muddy. I should add that the septic system is now working better than ever because it's not being back pressurized by the water contained in the yard. The hydro-static pressure was wreaking havoc with the system and causing me to get it pumped 3-4 times a year. The tank was constantly filling with water from the yard.
I cannot thank Greenfrog enough for the work they have done and the enjoyment my family will receive from our new dry back yard. I am happy to say that I will be using them in the very near future to continue repairing issues that the wet yard and terrible soil have caused under my house as well. One step at a time I guess. But the piece of mind that my kids and animals are safe in their own yard and not covered in mud constantly is worth it's weight in gold.

Green Frog Waterproofing was fantastic from start to finish!  When calling to schedule the appointment, they were quick to get me on the schedule and arrived early for the appointment.  When Blair came out, he answered all of my questions about the work that had to be done and gave me several options with different price points.  This made me feel comfortable in my decision without feeling bullied about the price.  He was very professional and courteous.  At the end of the assessment, he gave me a clear estimate of how much the project would cost and how long it would take to be completed.
The work was completed over 2-3 days, due to rain.  The workers were very clean and cleaned up very well after the job was complete.  Afterwards, Green Frog called me to be sure that I was happy with the work and asked if there was anything else that I needed.  I felt very secure that they did the best work they could.
A couple months later that work was put to the test.  My neighbor (townhouse) had a pipe burst.  My unit could have been flooded if not for the work the Green Frog did.  I could hear the water running through the new drainage system and could see it coming out of the release drain they put in.  I was so thankful that they system was working and I didn't have to worry about a big clean up of water damage.
I would HIGHLY recommend their services!  Everyone on the team that I worked with was friendly and professional.  Thank you again Green Frog!

We developed small moisture problem in the crawlspace and called a few places to get estimates but it came down to two companies.  We selected GreenFrog for the following reasons:
1. Blair and Andrew answered many of the questions before starting the work.  They wanted to be sure we were comfortable with the work performed.   in fact, i called Blair last week with a question (three months after the work) and he was kind to answer the question.
2. the materials....in looking at the materials in estimates from both companies, Greenfrog had the better materials...
3.  the service... the guys were here for nearly a week but were very respectful of storing the materials and making sure the yard was free from trash.  they did not start too early (having people bang around in the crawlspace would not be well received at 7am!)
4.  In a nutshell, Greenfrog treated the job as they would have done it for their house.!!

After getting several estimates, a neighbor recommended Green Frog.  Blair arrived and performed an estimate.  He was very professional and even found a pipe leak that needed attention (a plumber came out the next day to repair).   When I received the estimate (three different plans), it was significantly higher that the competitors (by thousands).  I brought this up to Blair who was able to meet the competitor's price and said Green Frog could provide the same work.
The crew arrived on a weekday morning but I wasn't given an exact time but luckily I work from home so I'm flexible.  The crew leader came to the door and explained they would get to work.  I inquired as to whether he would be sealing the vents in the house (it was on the estimate) but he seemed confused and said it wasn't necessary.  However, after a phone call with the office, it was determined that it was necessary.  Another worker came in to seal the events but also mentioned that a window would need to be opened to bring in an air tube.  I asked for him to give me a few minutes before opening the window so I could put my cats in a safe place (otherwise they might have escaped) and he responded "That's okay, I'll guard the window".  To me this was very unprofessional and I was not about to risk my cats getting out so I ran around my house frantically to get them in a safe place (all while I should have been at my desk working).  If I had been notified earlier that this was going to be the process, I could have had this taken care of.
There were a few other hangups such as having to come back a 2nd time to remove mold that was overlooked (the employee they sent out didn't seem very knowledgeable and had to call the office for my questions).  At this point, I'm not sure if all the mold was removed effectively.  This employee also brought along an "air scrubber" which I truly believe should have been in my house and running during the actual mold remediation instead of during this removal which took the employee all of 5-10 minutes.  My house smelled like dirt for almost 2-3 weeks afterwards and upon research, this can sometimes be the sign of mold and as of today, almost two months later I still smell occasional dirt smells.
Overall, it was a very frustrating experience.  $3,200 is a lot of money to me and I felt like the project didn't go smoothly and I'm not confident with the work that was done.  They were kind enough to give me a $125 break for the frustration but I'm more worried about quality of the work that was done and I can only hope I won't have to have mold remediated again any time soon.  I wish I had gone with one of their competitors.
I could tell that Blair and his counterpart (can't remember his name) cared about customer satisfaction but a lot of what went wrong could have been easy overcome with being more communicative (both we me and workers) to ensure everything went correctly.
