Goodwill Computer Works

It went...great. I know, the shop is kind of a vocational training place. It's a little hard to find without a GPS (though it's moving to the UNCC University area in May '14). It wasn't a major repair. But they fixed my problem for $15 bucks! A lot of places won't even open a ticket for less than three times that amount. They reloaded uncorrupted graphics software and removed malware. I actually bought my refurbed desktop there a couple of years back for a couple of hundred bucks, and by doing so had already saved hundreds over something new even at places like Costco or Sam's. (It's what I'm writing my review on now.) So unless you're some kind of real heavy power user, massive graphics / game design, with very specific system needs, it could be worth your while to check there first. This only goes for desktop-towers/printers/speakers; regarding laptops/netbooks, they had nothing that I could see. I'm sure they'd be happy to get some donations. I was going to knock down their "professionalism" for the location. I realize my histogram is skewed...I generally don't review places I don't like, but I really am trying to balance things out a bit. However, they're moving in six weeks so I'll give the new location the benefit of the doubt and am thus giving them a "B". There, I did it.
