Can I give negative stars? My dad hired Andrew Mount to paint several rooms in our house, including my bathroom. I haven’t been able to use my shower for weeks, thanks to the pain can and trash he left in it. The paint job itself is terrible, slathered on thickly, with some areas smooth and other areas rough. There’s paint on the mirror, the toilet, the newly refinished countertop, the faucets, and the toilet paper holder. There‘s paint spattered in the guest room (a room he wasn’t even supposed to paint), including on the very old picture and frame my granddad gave to my brother. The door he was hired to paint now has a 2-toned edge - why not at least finish the surface you started? There’s paint splattered on the carpet, too. Downstairs, he left an open can of paint that could easily get knocked over. There’s also hair and trash painted on the walls. He also verbally agreed to pain the spindles but then refused, saying they weren’t specified in the contract and that they didn’t count as trim. When asked to come fix it, he absolutely ignored the request. As someone whose business claims to bring glory to God, I’d like to point out that we, as Christians, should be working as for God, not for man. Andrew Mount, is this truly the type of job you’d like to do for the Lord?

Interior Painting went very poorly. He NEVER checked his own work. There are missed spots, drips & runs, spots with “trash” in the new paint, spots where the old color shows through, and door edges that were only partially painted-left with 2 colors and brush strokes on one surface. We VERY SPECIFICALLY discussed including the spindles on the stair railing prior to the proposal. He then gave a proposal stating “ALL TRIM” was included. Half-way through the job he said they were not included, and REFUSED to paint them. He mentioned he has filed a contractor’s lien on another client. I paid the final invoice promptly to be sure I didn’t get a contractor’s lien on my property. The contract and the final invoice both said he would do a final walk-through with me and return within 72 hours after payment for touch ups. He never did the walk-through. Then I contacted him SIX TIMES for touch-ups within the 72 hours. He has completely “ghosted” me and will not return my calls or messages.

I dealt with the owner, Andy, for a simple townhouse move-out paint job. This was touching up 3 primary walls and also some spot painting. I was not able to be present for the painting and received pictures. Upon inspection from the home owner, there was specific feedback given of paint streaks being apparent that need to be painted with a roller, as well as areas missed by their job. After 1 conversation in which I was told to text him everything we had talked about to schedule a time to finish job, I was completely ghosted after paying for a job that was not quality or complete. I'm extremely unhappy with this level of service and was going to give him a job to install blinds that I will now not being doing so. I do not recommend this company from this poor experience.

Honest, reliable and meticulous work for turnover on rental property move outs. Excellent painting and woodworking skills. Andy shows up when you call, provides a free estimate and expert advice. He prices his work aggressively to beat competitors while staying true to his quality.
