Fencing Service
They were the cheapest estimate. The work was fine although the Hispanic workers left cans of soda around the property. The problems came when the owner, Edgar, mentioned that he could add solar lights to top the two posts on the either side of the gate for extra money. A month later, one of the lights went out. I bought new solar batteries and this did not fix it. I went to Lowes and Home Depot and could not find the light. I called Edgar and told him that the light was not working. He at first did to return my telephone calls or respond to my emails. When I finally got through to him, he told me that he had no responsibility to help me. I asked him how this could be as he stated that his work was covered by a warranty. He stated that the warranty did not extend to lights that he installed. Although frustrated, I asked where I could purchase the light myself. He refused to give the information. So now I am stuck with a non functional light, that I cannot replace.

"I have no problem replacing a $45 cap for a post; it was a $3,000 job and everything was perfect; the homeowner took more than a week to pay because she worked during daylight and wanted to be able to walk the fence and make sure that everything was perfect; however, a year later she comes back to put a complaint because a post cap with solar light that she asked us to please put up for her is malfunctioning. We did not contract on these basis neither can we be responsible for an electric fixture that has nothing to do with our job but simply a favor to the homeowner. The fence is perfect but we are penalized for this; I believe it is completely outrageous. - Edgar Bermudez, Owner"
