+ 0 moreI talked to him about doing the work on the screen. He told me he would take the screen to a certain store and bring it back. He advised that I could just take the screen to the hardware myself and save some money. I was very impressed by how honest and straight forward he was with his assessment.
Description of Work: I talked to him about repairing a sliding screen door.

+ 0 moreFrank came when he said he would and performed the services I requested. I did not ask for an estimate and was quite surprised by how high his hourly rate was compared to what I had been paying in California. The work he did was acceptable and he worked at a good pace. Clean up after his work was non-existent. I had to do that myself.
Description of Work: Installed perforated shelving in utility room and closet. Built a ramp for handicap access from the kitchen into the garage.

+ -1 moreFrank was polite and prompt. He did a nice job on all the repairs and upgrades we requested. He knew what he was doing and did a number of fixes that helped us market our home to better advantage. While we decided to stay rather than to sell, all of the work Frank did was necessary and/or appealing to us as well.
Description of Work: General handyman work in preparation for selling our home: upgraded light fixtures front and back porch; replaced light switches on front and back porch; changed motion detector; supplied and put in new mailbox; replaced all heat pump registers on first floor; installed new house numbers on front porch post; pressure cleaned front porch; installed new lattice work in back porch gate; removed damaged carpet on first stair step, painted it and put in bull nose trim; recommended several other easy fixed (trimming bushes) we could easily do on our own to improve our curb appeal.

Description of Work: Hung light fixtures. Fixed broken toilet. Repaired lock on door & patched hole in drywall and painted it.

+ 0 moreHe told me where I can take the screen in North Trion for a new screen. I am not able to get out much but he offered to take it to the company to make sure it would fit. He switched the screen from the bathroom to the bedroom where I wanted it so I would not have to purchase a new screen. He showed me how to remove the screens. There was also a screen that was torn in the front window and has taken that to repair. He was so nice and saved me money from purchasing a new screen for the bedroom.
Description of Work: He moved 1 screen for me so I would not have to buy a new screen and then took a screen to repair the tear.
