It wasn't good. First of all he forgot the appointment date. I had to sell my house so I needed to have some drywall done before I had it painted, so I had to reschedule. He showed up late and I wasn't impressed with he work he did. And he left without cleaning up after himself. In terms of him meeting what was in the Big Deal, he did do that. I wouldn't hire him and I wouldn't recommend him.

It turned out to be very disappointing. I was working out of town when we scheduled it so I called him and rescheduled appropriately.
I had them paint a four wall sitting room. I wanted it in three different colors. I think we ended up, it was $40 or $50 more, but that was okay, I agreed. I provided three gallons of paint. I wanted one wall a dark blue. The opposite wall a medium blue and the two side walls a light blue. There was also a portion of the front wall that sloped over the fireplace that I wanted in a very, very light blue. He said he could not do this for $99.00. I said, how much more would it take? He said $50. I said fine. This is what I want, I understand, I will pay it, and I did.
The colors turned out just the way I like. The price I'm not going to argue with.
One, he was an hour late for his appointment.
Two, he spent a lot of time talking on the cell phone to somebody.
three, his trim painting was horrible. I spent time filling in nail holes. I still haven't got finish trimming around the mantel piece and
Four, there was paint over the top of some of the doorways. The doorways and windows were all white and this was a medium colored blue and I see splashes of blue up there. Also, I had to scrape off the counter in the kitchen and clean out the sink where he washed his brushes and left trailing of paint. He rushed through the job so that he could go to another appointment.
There was just one person and he was there for three or four hours. It wasn't very long once he got there.
He taped around the mantel piece but it wasn't flush so there is a white trough all the way around. That is not the hallmark of a good painter.

"first and foremost I did not agree to paint any of your white trim.secondly because you had four color ,you suggested that l use the sink which l asked if you ajax to clean out at the end,you indicated you will clean it,also you are the one late for the appointment I was waiting outside for you to go to the shoe shop.Most importantly you received a 700 dollar paint job for 99 dollar....never once telling you had four color."

However; in response to this , I have to say that first of all, the garage had already unfinished and was taped and mudded only. When I came on the job, I fixed the repairs. replaced a 3x3 drywall. and taped and mudded over that, and matched the existing finish."

Four Aces was called to confirm if the 3 hour drywall repair package would repair a small area of popcorn ceiling that was about 10 inches long. Cortez said that he would make the repair so the package was purchased for 99.00 on january 30, 2015. Provider took almost 2 weeks to call and get me on schedule and he arrived 2-18-15 to repair ceiling. Cortez applied compund on the ceiling and multiple other areas that needed repair. Contractor then attempted to leave at 30 minute mark. I asked him to repair the the ceiling like originaly agreed upon and Cortez said he would come the next afternoon. Cortez was called several times on 2-1915 with no response. He did not fix my ceiling and he left multiple areas of compound unsanded and did not clean up after his mess from room to room.

"Consumer was looking for a costless service in reference to getting an entire hallway retextured, when in fact he only paid for a drywall repair. The texture had to be removed in order to do the repair. Consumer was unwilling to pay for the hallway texture job."

The painter arrived on time and did a great job in a quick period of time. He was very nice and professional. We would definitely use him again. My deal was for 99.00 for a 12x14 room and he only charged me a little more to finish the room since it was about 22x14. We are happy with his work and the room looks great.
