FORTE FLOORS

Excellent. My floors look brand new. Mr Forte was professional and had a very pleasing personality. His price was more than reasonable. He explained in detail what needed to be done to my floors. He started the job and finished without any interruption. He was punctual and reiterated each day what tasks would be performed. He went above and beyond what I expected. He told me how to care for the what floors, explaining what to do and not to do. He made sure that I had the proper floor protection under all of the wooden legs on my sofa and chairs. Mr Forte made sure I was very satisfied before any money changed hands. I would highly recommend Mr Forte for any floor refinishing job.

They job was good but the level I paid for it was not good. The installation was fine but the quality I’m having problems with. I felt I was over-charged.   There were a few occasions where he was not punctual. It was a job that dragged out for a period of time.

I'm giving you a review some 8 + years later because I haven't needed his services since then because the work was so good.  (Yet they keep asking me for these reviews...)  While I am getting ready to replace carpets I had installed back then my hardwoods are still going strong. 
For background, I had lifted some old carpet in a house I just purchased exposing some badly dog stained hardwoods.  I thought I was going to have to replace the carpet all over again.  But Mr. Forte was able to acceptably mask the dog markings.  (I didn't totally have the markings removed, though he could have, because that would have meant going really deep into the wood, but as stated, he was able to acceptably mask them with the stain and gloss chosen.)  The hardwood is aging nicely now, a much better value than a carpet.  This was perhaps the best decision we made on the rehab phase of our house.
There is a lot of old, covered, and likely damaged hardwood in the Charlotte area, and people buying back into old neighborhoods like we did.  If you take the leap -- and I recommend you do, it worked for us -- then consider Forte for the hardwood work, rework, or workaround. 

It went really good. They were very very thorough. He really wants to please the customer. It was the second time I've used. If you don't like they do, they will redo it for you.

He will be coming back out once I complete another project to refinish the rest of the flooring. He has done a really good job so far! He did a great job of cleaning up after himself during a somewhat messy project! He is willing to complete projects at your pace to fit your budget. Also, no project is too small, which I like about him.
