 + 0 moreIt was the first time I had used them. It went great. They were very attentive toward my needs. I'd been in an accident and needed to get to the deck in my wheel chair. They did the job in about a week and handled everything very well.

 + -1 moreQuality of work was shoddy. Bill was seldom on the job site to supervise. Neither he nor his crew could take direction or criticism, and therefore problems could not get resolved. The structural work was bad so workers drywalled over it, hiding it from my engineer. Workers also drywalled over roof leaks after saying they would fix them first. Drywall itself is full of ragged edges, large open seams, tiny pieces patched together, outright holes and surfaces not flush. Workers installed insulation in a way that creates water problems (even without the unpatched roof leaks.) The bottom line is that Bill Focht does not hire people who know what they're doing, doesn't supervise the ones he does hire, and won't fix the problems that they create. Contract price was $14,600, which was higher than all other bidders, so he's not a bargain, either.
Description of Work: We hired them to gut my living room and dining room, add paneling and other decorative trim, and to replace the ceiling in my kitchen. The job required some revision of the structure supporting my roof. They got part way through framing, insulating and drywalling, but finished nothing.
