Mister Sparky's employee had to come twice and did many checks (circuit board, underground wiring, etc) before the problem was discovered. He did good work and was very friendly and helpful. He told me beforehand what the costs would be, in writing. I appreciated that.

Way, way, way overpriced...but need it done right away, and he was already there, so I went ahead, but would NEVER use them again....I got fleeced for a simple attic fan which took him 3 hours to do!!

Very unprofessional. Electrician routed wires along the outside of my house without telling me first. When I saw the work and started asking questions, i.e., "What are my options?" The electrician's response was, it is to code, it is to code. Thank goodness my plumber called the company on my behalf and they finally fixed it although Sparky sent the same person back who obviously did not want to route the wiring through my basement, which was both to code and the appropriate way to do the work. I do not recommend this service to anyone in need of quality electrical work.

This is my third service performed by Mister Sparky of Charlotte - They were professional and greeted me with a smile. The service was performed accurately and with superb craftsmanship. The technician wore shoe covers and left the space cleaner than when he started!

When I called them I thought I was having a problem with the smoke alarm. They said it was a $59 travel charge, when they arrived the workman quoted $199 for the work, and gave an invoice with all sorts of things that made no sense. I told him go ahead. He spent 2 hours in my house before finally realizing that it was the CO2 alarm, and only required the pressing a reset button. I got suspicious of the extensive charges, and the fact that he "jokingly" told me to just write the check out to him. I decided to stop the check. I called them and Shawn said, "we run a you-win business" and said that they would not charge anything. I insisted on paying for something, they said they would send me the check back and I could send in whatever I thought was fair. I have not received it yet. but the payment was stopped. I would NOT use them again.

"WHEN I SCHEDULED THE CALL, I INFORMED THE CLIENT THAT WE DO CHARGE $59 FOR THE TECHNICIAN TO COME OUT TO HER HOME. IT IS OUR POLICY TO INFORM THE CUSTOMER IN WRITING OF THE COST TO MAKE A REPAIR AND AT THIS TIME THE CUSTOMER MUST SIGN THAT THEY APPROVE THE TOTAL - BEFORE ANY WORK IS STARTED. THE CLIENT DID SIGN THE QUOTE AND THE TECHNICIAN BEGAN THE WORK, WHICH IN THIS CASE WAS A SINGLE CIRCUIT DIAGNOSTIC IN ORDER TO LOCATE THE PROBLEM WITH EITHER THE SMOKE DETECTOR OR CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR. ONCE THE WORK WAS COMPLETED, THE CLIENT PAID FOR OUR SERVICE VIA CHECK AND THE TECHNICIAN CLOSED THE CALL. IT WAS NOT UNTIL LATER THAT EVENING THAT THE CLIENT CONTACTED SEAN AND HE INFORMED HER THAT WE ADHERE TO A "YOU WIN" POLICY; WHICH MEANS IF THE CLIENT IS UNSATISFIED FOR ANY REASON - WE WILL CHEERFULLY REFUND THE TOTAL COST OF SERVICE - REGARDLESS OF THE CLIENT'S REASON AND EVEN THOUGH THEY APPROVED ANY AND ALL PRICING, BEFORE THE WORK WAS STARTED. WE DID RETURN THE CLIENT'S CHECK VIA US MAIL, AS WE PROMISED AND ARE QUITE SURPRISED THAT THE CLIENT GAVE US SUCH A POOR GRADE, CONSIDERING THAT SHE STATED TO ME THAT SHE WOULD NOT DO SO. I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT MISTER SPARKY OF CHARLOTTE DID WHAT WE PROMISED AND HENCE WOULD EXPECT BETTER TREATMENT FROM OUR CLIENT."
