First Painting made a whole house paint job easy!

BLOWN AWAY! If you need a job done QUICKLY and REASONABLY PRICED. I’m already planning to hire them for my next job. Wendy tested samples on the wall for me to choose from and John checked in every step of the way to ensure I was happy with the work. I cannot say enough good things about the team.

We hired John because out of the several contractors we contacted for a quote, he was the only one to show up on time. He said 6pm and showed up at 6pm on the dot. Didn’t have to text/call him to make sure he was still coming. John and his crew did great work! And they work quickly. They were able to get our project done in 1 day and there were a few rooms/areas to be painted. Plus they fixed the nail pops that we pointed out. There were a few that were missed while his crew was painting, but we didn’t point them out or mark them. So not really their fault. First paint offered a reasonable price and was right in line with every other quote we had received. Would definitely hire them again for future paint jobs!

John and his team do EXCEPTIONAL work! They are very reasonably priced and very easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone looking for painting services!

John assured me he had painted kitchen cabinets several times and this was very routine for his team. They missed a few spots and had to come back a week later. No problem. Then after a month the paint started to chip and discolor. Initially he said he'd come fix the issue, then after 3 weeks of pushing it back he just stopped responding. I'm sure he knows how to paint walls but he has no experience with kitchen cabinets. DO NOT HIRE.

The crew arrived early and were very professional and clean. The walls came out great, one wall in a bed room needed to have adhesive pegs removed, and then repaired. The wall came out great, you can't tell there was any damage at all. I will be hiring them again.

We walked the home from front to back prior to executing the job and again in addition to getting the amount of paint he suggested. He (John or Jonh), informed us the day they all came to start that they would be spending the night (thought that strange), but one could rationalize why and we weren't living there yet so, okay. We didn't leave immediately and noticed he had his small children about the house, so we hung around until the woman and children left. Later that night he called stating that they needed more paint ( an unreasonable amount that would total 18 gallons and we had already provided 10), and by the end of the conversation he was getting irate! We saw no need for this behavior so we ended the call because he was not making sense. We went to the location with an amount we thought reasonable and although he did not come back to meet us, the supervisor (who did not speak fluent English) agreed it was enough. We found lots of areas that were not finished, did not have ample paint or were scratched down to the drywall and not repainted, and not caulked or trimmed per our agreement even though we provided a case of caulking. When I contacted him about the caulking he agreed to reimburse for the case of caulking. The other things we decided it was not worth the trouble since he obviously does not check their work. I will not ever do business with them on any other projects because of the unprofessionalism shown, and the poor workmanship.

Generally, overall good work was performed. Results were very satiafactory.

Very well. John and his crew did a beautiful job. They are professional and the quality is excellent. I have tried a number of painters with just okay results. This is the second time awe have used First Painting and it will not be the last.

Fantastic! John got back to me with a quote right away and it was reasonable. I put the request out on Saturday and it was done on Tuesday. He and his team did excellent work, were neat, and professional. We will use him again.

First Painting did an outstanding job. From the initial visit to view our projects, to the finishing touches, this team was amazing. Jonh gave great advice from the beginning, helping us match colors and providing suggestions. We could not be more pleased with the end result! The quality of work and attention to detail is the best. I highly recommend this team of professionals, and will always use them for painting projects!

John and his company are absolutely wonderful! We hired them to paint our cabinets and the interior of our house from top to bottom. John is incredibly responsive and was extremely accommodating when we decided to add the ceilings last minute. They worked tirelessly every day to meet our timeline. I highly recommend this company.

They did an excellent job. They were punctual and finished the job quickly. The cracks in the walls were repaired really well. The workers had a great, positive attitude.

John and his crew did an amazing job. What I appreciated most about John was his flexibility. We had a very short time window in which to get a quote and start and finish the job before we moved into our new home. John worked around our crazy timeline and each obstacle (including our power unexpectedly getting turned off at one point!) and got the job done in record time. I cannot say enough positive things about John and his team! You won't find a better price and his team was incredibly punctual and very respectful of our space. They moved all of the furniture to the middle of the rooms, used heavy duty drop cloths and cleaned all materials after every day. We had a few minor wall repairs and the quality of the work was outstanding. John is very easy to get in touch with and usually responds (via text) within seconds. After all of the work was completed, we realized one room was painted the wrong color because Sherwin Williams mislabeled the paint can, and they repainted the room a few hours later, no questions asked. Will definitely hire again!

Quick to get back to me with a quote. Great quote in comparison to some other companies. We used Sherwin Williams duration paint. They allowed me to go to the paint store and purchase the paint, which was important to me! They did a beautiful job. No paint on the floors or baseboard. They sanded the walls and filled in some holes for me. I would hire them again for future painting jobs.

John did an excellent job. His price was very competitive and work was professional. He uses only the best paint. He communicated well and did what he said he would do. John has " an eye" for color and design and gave me some good suggestions. I will hire him again for future paint jobs.

This is likely the best painting business I have ever come across! The owner was very punctual for the quote and job itself, and provided a lot of help and information to help us select the right colors. They showed up right on time and did an amazing job! We thought the price was very fair, and you will not find better quality work from anyone else. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in what he does, and he went way beyond our expectations of a good job. Our house looks incredible, and we are already hiring again to do our ceilings and possibly other rooms. You will not be disappointed with this company!
