"First I completed this job in December 2013 not February, 2014. He purchased a Big Deal coupon from Angie's List. If he thought the price was too high than he should not have purchased it. I don't understand an overall grade of C when the other four catagories are B's."

Although they told me it was no replacement for sanding and refinishing, they didn't tell me that the floor would likely be a liability because it started to wear very quickly. It looked so much worse than before and it has continued to get worse and worse. The floor was dry and looked nice and shiny.

It was not the best. He was nice and did what he said he would. He did an average job. I would use him again.

"To respond to this review I must say I'm quite confused on this review. First of all I did the work in November not January. We refinished a bad area under the refrigerator and resurfaced the remaining areas with one coat of urethane at which time he informed us he was very pleased with the work and would be glad to refer us to others. We were punctual, pleasant and precise in our work."

In one word, we are: THRILLED! Thank you, Charles, for your attention to detail and quality work! A++++++! We boarded our dogs (i.e. the cause of our poor floors!) and took the kids to the NC Zoo for the day. We trusted Charles and his employee to be in our home, and they didn't let us down. Our floors look fresh, shiny (we did the semi-gloss, a great sheen), and they are now 100% protected again. We worried about the scuffs and bare wood because moisture could cause damage so we wanted a fresh coat. If you're expecting all the gouges and scratches to go away with a resurface, they won't. We previously had another company refinish our floors and that buffed and sanded everything out... but it was too costly and time consuming for us right now so we got the resurface. We are very pleased and knew what we were getting! :)

The time it took him to get to my floors was reasonable. He was prompt and very professional. He did not move furniture. There were a couple paint marks that were still there afterwards.

He came in and told us first thing I do not move furniture, I do not sand, your floors need alot of work I will need to do more . It was as if he did not really want the job. I regret using him. The scratches on the floor look worse.

"I don't understand the clients review. She purchased a coupon for a resurface and I informed her that the floors were in too bad a shape for this process. I told her the floors needed a complete refinish and informed her the difference between both processes and that Fabulous Floors does both processes but that I would be glad to do what ever they decide. I also told her that I would help her move the heavy pieces of furniture. This clients review is totally inaccurate and unwarranted. I took pictures of the floor before I did a resurface and they clearly substantiate my statement. I try to be fair and honest with the clients. I try to inform them up front what we feel is best for their floors. This client is not being honest with her review."

My floors look awesome now!!
The floors in my foyer and half bath have been there since 1998 when the house was built. They were very dull and worn looking, and I thought about replacing them. I saw Charle's add on Angie's List I contacted him. We talked about the floors over the phone, scheduled an appointment for him to come out.
He arrived on time (very punctual) and the day we scheduled. He did a light sanding/buffing and applied poly and they look fantastic. I am extremely happy. I actually called him the next day and said thank you again. Before you replace your floors, I would recommend you see what he can do to make them look better. He left me with information on how to maintain them and what not to use on them.
Charles is really nice, professional and honest.

He explained what he was going to do and the timing of the work was what he said. He did an overall high quality work. There was a part that didn't dry and he came back out to finish that part at no additional cost. He made sure that the job is done to your satisfaction.

They were easy to work with: communication was excellent, they were prompt and did an excellent job. Mr Haas was there on schedule, his crew covered cabinets and such with plastic to avoid dust, and they completed the job as planned.
