Do not use Duct Doctor of Charlotte. The only thing they are good at cleaning is their reviews We used this company since they had 4.9 ratings on HomeAdvisor and Angie’s list Never have we ever had such issues with a contractor. Started with them showing up without the text we would told would occur an hour before they arrived, minor issue easily overlooked. Team of three were to clean our ducts and registers on a home with 2 units along with cleaning the dryer vent. The day after we noticed our digital thermostat did not have a display. After checking all fuses we called the AC company who suggested we have the duct cleaning company return and verify they had turned everything back on. The manager came that afternoon and told us the technician had not turned the system back on A couple days later we noticed our dryer wasn’t working properly. Before calling an appliance repair we checked the outside vent and felt no air movement. We called the duct company again told them of the issue and our growing concern about all of the work done. Expressing we wanted the manager to recheck all the work. He promised to call back within 24 hours. Having received no call back we called again expressing further annoyance and stating we would have another company check their work and file an issue as needed. The manager called back stating he would be out in 30 minutes and would refund a portion of the payment. After recleaning the dryer vent it is now operational A couple days later we noticed our upstairs AC unit was not running. We had our AC technician come out and he found the duct company had loosened a plug. When he reconnected the AC started working Do not use this company. Do not rely on ratings from Angie’s list or HomeAdvisor - clearly they allow this company to remove unhappy reviews

Terrific. The techs were polite and really knew what they were talking about. I wasn't hit up for a bunch of "extra" costs at the end. I would recommend to anyone.

I was very pleased with the quality of the work and I think the price was very fair. The technicians were professional, friendly and considerate. I loved having them in my home. Everything feels so much cleaner now and I am very satisfied!

They came out and showed us what our problem was and how to prevent this in the future. I was very pleased with the service. They found mold in our air ducts and I already have breathing problems. After he finished we could tell the difference in the air and I am breathing a lot better. I would highly recommend those young men. My doctor said that could have been the reason I was having breathing problems. They were so nice and it only took them about a hour to complete the job. I will give them A's across the board. I was real impressed with them. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

They were polite.  They were quick.  It seemed to be a very clean job that they did.

Everything was done as promised. Mr. Lamphear and his associate were very professional and friendly. They did their job and completed the work a little quicker than promised. They cleaned up after themselves and did not leave a trace of their visit except leaving my home smelling fresh and clean. What a difference this service made! This was a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend Phil Lamphear at Duct Doctor
